Original Carrie is far better 😂 I love Rob Zombie films. I just cant help it lol 😅 Huge hatred for the Suspiria remake too! Original is much better. I prefer Hills Have Eyes remake. I feel like im the only person who enjoyed the Nightmare on Elm Street remake
I think you really enjoyed the Carrie remake in part because you haven’t seen the original. It’s a good one for someone unfamiliar with BDP’s version. I was so happy when it came to the Suspiria remake. Such a pretentious, pseudo-intellectual snooze fest that just took the name of a classic and butchered the whole concept as much as they could. Remaking an Argento film is a stupid idea, but the one thing you cannot do is give it a boring aesthetic. All the vivid reds in the 1977 version, and then this fucking grey pile of crap shows up 40 years later. And narratively as well, the whole movie gave me this “I’m so much better than the original, oh look at me I'm so politically aware" vibe
