If the example.com host would not have an ipv6 address, than the DNS should/would have only returned an ipv4 ip address, right? In that case no lag would have been involved if the client would use the ipv4 address in the first try. Or is this too simple thinking of me?
Yeah there is an exploit using dual stack called a bind shell... Its a type of shell in which the target machine opens up a communication port or a listener on the victim machine and waits for an incoming connection. The attacker then connects to the victim machine's listener which then leads to code or command execution on the server its a backdoor without being a backdoor. more like hiding under the onning till someone leaves then dropping down and walking in.
I did it with my Switch but encountered lag. I did it on my PC and my download speeds went down but web browsing felt a lot snappier I used Cloudflare DNS instead of Google since I wanted top notch security. I set it up with both protocols on my router and my PC
