@@texastravelers210 Floresville is about 15 minutes, seguin is 20 mins. Not bad for something quick but for most things you need to go to SA or New Braunfels. I moved with my fam out here cause there’s less rules and regulations living in the country and without things like HOA. And less crowded.
Yeah... I liked these roads as well. Texas country roads around the hill country are unique. They have their own feel to them. Nice shots along the creeks. But the water is not clear as in many other hill country rivers. I bet it was nice to get off of riding on ping pong balls on those gravel roads. We hit 100 today in DFW, but it was only 32% humidity. So, not too uncomfortable. Gord
lol ping pong balls, that’s what it feels like. This is a little downstream and outside of the hill Country so the water has had some time to pick up some debris and pollutants for sure. Not sure about water quality but I would never try swimming in Cibolo Creek. Some days though the water is surprisingly very clear.
@@cyclingtexas1670 Interesting that some days it's clear. Yes, Stockdale is on the outskirts of the hill country. Actually, these country roads are different again from the hill country. But I like these roads, like I said. They remind me of typical Texas country roads. For instance, if you travel up to Wichita Falls from Fort Worth, once you get passed Decatur, parts start looking really desolate. I don't care for that at all. Other parts are interesting like around Bowie. Gord

I love the area where you live . It's kind of a getaway from everything. We live on the northeast side and there's always traffic .
It’s a double edged sword cause it is a getaway from everything and you have to drive an hour to go anywhere. But I love the peacefulness.
@@cyclingtexas1670 Floresville shouldn't be too far away from you right ? They do have some stuff. What actually made you to move to Stockton?
