The Dolphinarium is among the most visited tourist attractions in Constanta both in summer and in the off-season.
Three subspecies of dolphins live in the Black Sea, namely: the porpoise, the common dolphin and the bottlenose dolphin. The Constanţa Dolphinarium has hosted all three species of dolphins from the Black Sea in its pools. The first were porpoises (Phocoena phocoena relicta) and common dolphins (Delphinus delphis ponticus), and almost 20 years ago, bottlenose dolphins or large dolphins, as the species Tursiops truncatus ponticus is also called, were brought.
Constanța Dolphinarium is located on Mamaia Boulevard at the intersection with Soveja street.
