I'm 34 and a 1/3 emotional manifestor as well. Tough life? I've always had an intense yearning for freedom and independence (started mowing grass at 11 for money), but it seems like everyone tends to put their problems on me. Additionally, many people zap me for energy because I am very resilient. I am completely self-sustainable and I think it makes people want to control me. Since learning about human design, it's been interesting reflecting on how people have attempted to control me for their own benefit when they clearly see I'm drained and not happy.
I am 57 and a 1/3 Manifestor… yes Francis being a woman Manifestor is much more challenging. Being a male Manifestor is still challenging… since learning HD I have found more peace ☮️ using my S and A initiating informing and asking to be informed… thanks for sharing
My father is an 1/3 emotional manifestor. He is incredibly strong and very emotional yet unaware of his emotions. He thrives with independence and freedom being away yet wanting to be around others only when he wants. :) Extremely emotional yet unaware of the emotions
My seventeen year old son is a manifestor. He used to play baseball, and man, when he was in the zone, it was like watching someone defy the laws of physics. Epic is the word I would use.
I’m a Manifestor and really judged myself for not being a generator during my corporate sales days. Now that I honor my wiring, my vision based work as an entrepreneur is such a perfect fit. Everything you said is so true.
Thank you for this explanation. I am a 2/4 Manifestor, and I was always told that I had a queen/royal aura, which made people go away or not even speak to me - when I was very young, it was hard. I felt rejected, do I smell??? and hurting for not being part of a group (as if I was supposed to be part of, I thought). Now, I know that is part of my nature, I felt so calm and at peace by knowing this, as I can exercise and live my freedom - not having to apologise (only inform). I still have to find out how I can manifest money, by appearing and disappearing, by having a quick impact :) Gratitude to you for guiding us to become our true selves.

I have only just come across Human Design and I am a Manifestor - 5/1 - Teacher/Investigator...this knowledge explains why I am always asked for directions, even when I am just a visitor a new city! It explains why people at parties share their inner most thoughts with me, it explains why I become the leader of a group and end up with more helpers than I know what to do with! It explains why I taught disengaged teenagers, it explains why I went back to study at 50 to become a Life Coach...it also explains why I am a Life Coach!! I am so excited to learn more about Human Design!

During an ayahuasca ceremony my manifestor-role was beautifully portrayed and I like to share it with everyone here:) I had a vision where I saw myself in a desert. I was with a whole group of other people, but they were way behind me because I was supposedly exploring new territory; see if it was safe and at the same time an exciting (like full of life and joy) place for each one of us. After years of playing a super slave (which maybe more manifestors here will recognize?) this vision is starting to become more and more reality. Yep. 4/6 emo mani here, i can sense my impact everywhere I go. I've found that acknowledging my own impact on a daily basis helps, especially while we wait for people to realize the impact and tell us years later 🤣 I find that I work best with people that can keep up with me, and don't question my disappearances or need to go off on adventures at any time. And it's so easy to sense the neediness or need to control from others. I stay far away from those people, the right ones that respect my need to wander and do my own thing always find me. and lucky them, they get my loyalty and love for life 😛
I agree 99% because I love surprises and would love to be taken somewhere on a surprise trip. I'm a hypnotherapist. Both men and women get emotional and experience beautiful healing with me ❤
I call it my ninja-power. People often jump when they realise I walked into a room - and I am not a quiet walker. I really have to announce myself (by greeting or song or demonstrative knocking on the door, accompanied by a verbal "knock knock".)
Your description is spot on, Richard. After years of working one-to-one, I noticed, for the first time, the impact I can have directly. I have just finished an 80 hour training course on non-violent conflict resolution with 8 other people. Initially, it was my calm presence, which was mentioned as setting the tone. As usual, I didn't join in the small talk during break time and during sessions and only spoke, when I had something to say. It was a hit every time. There was the occasional shock, yet afterwards I was thanked for pointing out uncomfortable truth.I was able to speak from a place of peace and with a smile. I also informed the group about my need for rest and that there were activities which I didn't want to participate in - no problem. I felt free to be myself, even to clown around, something that just came spontaneously, much to my own surprise. I am usually quite serious and professional but this time, during the last 2 day seminar, I used clowning to demonstrate my displeasure/anger at something. It was quite a rant and quite a performance. I had a wonderful time and when we said good-by, I got hugs of such warmth, I was almost boweled over. Just being my manifestor self brought me 4 people who will stay in my life as friends, it seems. SplManifestor6/3 here., a long time off the roof.
discovering my human design type was literally the answers and confirmation that i've been searching for. so many dots connected in my head as a 5/1 manifestor!
I got two know two days ago that I’m a manifestar 2/4 . Since then I’m understanding lots of things about myself and I stopped punishing myself for not being productive in the way that I don’t feel to as it’s not my energy or my role here. I feel free know to light on my inside fire and move forward new roads that I’ve never recognized myself before even tough people told me about but I didn’t noticed. Thanks human design for giving me freedom of my beliefs system.
1/3 emotional manifestor, Natural shores environment - I need natural shorelines and boundaries in EVERYTHING. I’m also Observed - and looking back at a rest cycle I’m coming out of, I can see how there were times that I was in that sullen energy to basically say: I don’t want to let anyone in right now, I don’t want to inform, and I am intentionally withdrawing my impact at the moment. Very interesting aura to hold, I appreciate HD - it helps me understand myself and how to navigate my experiences.
1/3 emotional manifestor as well. For about a month, I've withdrawn myself as well. Way too many people were attempting to communicate with me. They want to be involved in my life. I just stopped posting on social media, hoping people will forget about me for a bit. Feeling like I need to inform people is absolutely draining. I'm starting my HD experiment, and the informing thing is draining too, because people ask "why" or want details on my plans. I'm better off just disappearing. People are too slow and can't keep up with me. Consequently, they attempt to hold me back because they are not confident in their skills as I am. I've trimmed down my associate and friend group so not so many people are coming to me.
So true about control! Reading comments from a fellow manifestor is a revelation in and of itself. I wish we’d bump into each other in real life more often for that much-needed “ I see you”. Since my father also manifestor passed away when I was 11 I haven't felt such recognition from anyone ever again…
thank you, I really need to hear this today. I'm 32 yrs old already and a 6/2 manifestor. corporate life is very draining for me regardless of how much the compensation is. sometimes I feel at lost. I think what I'm doing is worthless and will just be a slave of society until the end of my days 😢
Nah you won't be a slave until the end. At the end of the day Manifestors have the ability to get a distance from what most are completely stuck in. Freedom is the highest value for Manifestors and the 'Call of the Wild' is always in them. You're newly in your Saturn Return cycle - there will be many things for you to be optimistic about as the cycle keep rolling. I suggest you educate yourself about the wealth pathways that can help you use that compensation wisely and, without more work, sidestep the corporate nonsense and find your peace. :)
How is it even possible to do corporate work? Surprised you have not been fired. My experience is that the threat of a mani not needing others validation is enough to get a mani fired.

Wow, this is the best description of a Manifestor yet. I am a 3/5 emotional manifester. My oldest & youngest is a manifestor, my middle daughter is a generator (we vibe so well), and my husband is a MG. I like to joke that a good portion of the manifesters are born in my family. I'm so thankful to be learning about human design so that I can be a better parent to my kids. The knowledge of my kid's human design charts has smoothed out parenting challenges out for me significantly. Thank you so much for sharing all that you share. Understanding my chart has really helped me understand my impact on others, and how to be a better parent, wife, and friend.
I was re-watching this one today because I have a Manifestor childhood friend that recently started her HD journey as well. I have known other Manifestors (just one or two haha) during my adulthood and I do feel (or felt when I first met them) some resistance. A resistance that doesn't necessarily mean they are antisocial or unfriendly people. They are just inside their energy "walls". There is some kind of barrier there. At the same time there is also power there, for sure. With my childhood friend it was quite different. I first met her when we were about 10 yo. Only after meeting her chart I got to know that she is a Manifestor, but now that I know it, it does makes a lot of sense. From my experience with her, she is a very "accessible" Manifestor, but that may be because I have known her since we were children. Also, she is a 2/4 Profile. She is a very friendly Manifestor. :) She likes her time at home and with family and friends. But she does have much impact and energy. 😊 I like her energy and her friendship a lot.
I'm a 6/2 manifestor and am really starting to notice it more and more. People even start telling me about the impact I make in a really positive way. At the beginning of HD I didn't want to recognize it because I was afraid of my ego becoming too big. But it's just the way I operate and I'm allowed to embrace it all the way

I'm so glad I found this!! Lately I've been understanding part of my place in this world is to crack shells. Not always the most pleasant experience for the shell but I'm practicing kindness and gentility. Also what you said about control really landed. I would also extend it to nurturing. For example I have a couple people in my world right now who want to know how they can "support me". Like what does that even mean? Lol maybe I'm meant to impact them by being confused by their offer? 🤷 I'm a 6/3 manifestor with the 12/22 defined. Loved what you said about the 12/22 drawing people in and them spontaneously opening up. Almost like a vacuum in the space or something. I still don't fully understand how it works but this helped a lot!
THANK you for this- as an Emotional 4/6 Manifestor working my way out of Generator programming I'm finding myself confused about the 'authority' and 'informing', so I'm learning as much as I can. The *impact* side of things I've been aware of all my life but confused by- now that I'm deprogramming from Generator I'm remembering more and more about how I naturally was as a kid and how easily the authority came to me- regal, yes, very solid in myself and my own visions/expression.

I am a manifestor in transformation :) I am coming out of a decade long passive mode and I am on fire 😂 freedom was allways my biggest theme, but on the other hand, I didn't realy knew, what to do with it...I was realy insecure. I still am in some ways. But I allways felt how I inpact people with everything I say or don't say. I could allways feel the shift of energy in people and in the whole group with me only entering a room. With gate 19 I can also calm people down, right away, with two words... And I know sulleness very well. I can feel my 'poker' face and the distance I get with it from people. Thanks again 🌻

I’m a generator(defined G, spleen & root) 6/2 L Clarion with an emotional manifestor(defined throat&Solar p) 4/6 sphinx 2. Both of us are single definition. After 4 yrs, I’ve come to realize that sullenness you spoke of, closed aura etc I have gotten incredibly exhausted. It felt like i was initiating and holding everything together. It is coming to an end slowly however, I have learned so much more about my self. My nephew is a manifestor with defined root,spleen, solar, will an throat and he is fast. He works hard and gets things done. (6/2 L incarnation, split) when I’m with him, we flow so well and give each other space without needing to explain. There’s this wisdom that crosses between us and we often get this Ding moment. Two very different manifestors, both are beautiful people so i got to experience both spectrums.

I read their aura directly, 1st time ever. Actually very large 3m radius. Obviously "uncontrollable"😮 I think they go around socially and initiate people into new possibilities. I even read when they "informed" me I could leave now. Like I was reading tonal or colour information. Yum😊

Richard--Can you say more about the "now" time frame you're seeing the percentage of manifestors being born increasing from >9% to 10.4%? Curious because the wide-spread belief/view in the HD world is that more projectors are being born. For those wondering about having a chart done by Richard, can definitely say having purchased one nearly a year ago, it's a comprehensive analysis. I refer to it constantly--keep it open on my laptop . It's been so useful in deepening my understanding of my not self and pre-paving the path of peace, expressing my 5/1 emotional Manifestor design, experimenting with my aura (the projections--quite fascinating), and living into my LAX of informing. Just do it!
Hi CLJ132, Thanks for the question. I use Jovian Archives Rave Stats as they have been collecting inofrmation for decades. It shows that Projectors have increased from 21% to 22.58% and Reflectors from 1% to 1.44%. Man Gens have gone down to 30.44% and Gens down to 35.82%. We used to say 70% were Gens plus MG's now it's 66.26%. Thanks for the recommendation for people to come to me for readings, but at the moment I am not taking any new readings as I'm working on more HD films. Happy to hear you are still in the experiment. Before I discovered HD I used to think everybody could hear God and it would frustrate me that they still made (what I used to call "dum decisons"). But now I understand it's just how we are each designed. You can't do things in a Toyota that you can do in a Ferrari and that's okay. It is what it is. Ferrari owners pay more insurance than Toyota owners so there are conveniences and "inconveniences" to all things. And before you start throwing chairs and tomatoes, I'm not saying Manifestors are Ferraris, I'm just saying.
I only found out a year ago that I’m a 5/1 emotional manifestor. Now I want to know everyone’s chart. I’ve been single for years and it suits me very well. I’m also a healer, perfect strangers tell me their aches and pains all the time. I never understood why people liked me or came to me for advise. I guess they felt something that I didn’t know about myself. Peace is the most important thing to me. I live in the country and watch the sunrise every morning it’s visible. Nature is my favorite place to be. I’m never lonely, I’m always reading, listening, or researching something to do with quantum physics. I have been searching for a reflector and then I realized my personality chart is a reflector and my design is a projector. My favorite day of the month is a new moon day. I cut my hair by the moon phase, and do gardening by the moon phase. It’s kind of funny that I was searching for someone and I was that someone. The transits affect me deeply in many ways. I follow them every day. I will study human design the rest of my life. It’s fascinating to me.
My non blood brother is 6/2 splenic manifestor feels burnt out. So sad. Sullenness over the face... yes this is almost a constant attitude for him. Very independent. Very individual. I never argue back or force anything bc it never works so I say you decide, you don't need to, you don't have to and then I end up getting what I want. lol reverse psychology works well w manifestors from my experience. All good intentions of course. Just know who I am dealing with. Feel free to update your programming with what I said if you are a manifestor or if you are working with a manifestor.
NIKE has it so wrong with their 'Just Do It' motto. Who the hell can in fact? Generators are waiting to respond; Projectors are waiting for invitations; Reflectors, let's not go there... (love you really) and of the Manifestors, who potentially can, 50% of them will be emotional! More waiting. Glad I'm part of the 4% that can 'just do it'. Should I tell NIKE? Edit: So there are more of us now are there? Change that to 5% then! Lol

Pffft!! I’m a 1/3 Manifestor, right angle cross of tension. People generally think that I’m up to no good immediately and they hate me, or they ignore me completely, as if I’m not even there. Worst human design type of them all. In what sort of sensible universe would people be cursed with this type? Do we exist solely to be organ donors or something? Relationships are near impossible and life is without purpose as a Manifestor. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Yep. 4/6 emo mani here, i can sense my impact everywhere I go. I've found that acknowledging my own impact on a daily basis helps, especially while we wait for people to realize the impact and tell us years later 🤣
I find that I work best with people that can keep up with me, and don't question my disappearances or need to go off on adventures at any time.
And it's so easy to sense the neediness or need to control from others. I stay far away from those people, the right ones that respect my need to wander and do my own thing always find me. and lucky them, they get my loyalty and love for life 😛
I agree 99% because I love surprises and would love to be taken somewhere on a surprise trip. I'm a hypnotherapist. Both men and women get emotional and experience beautiful healing with me ❤

Your description is spot on, Richard. After years of working one-to-one, I noticed, for the first time, the impact I can have directly.
I have just finished an 80 hour training course on non-violent conflict resolution with 8 other people. Initially, it was my calm presence, which was mentioned as setting the tone. As usual, I didn't join in the small talk during break time and during sessions and only spoke, when I had something to say. It was a hit every time. There was the occasional shock, yet afterwards I was thanked for pointing out uncomfortable truth.I was able to speak from a place of peace and with a smile. I also informed the group about my need for rest and that there were activities which I didn't want to participate in - no problem. I felt free to be myself, even to clown around, something that just came spontaneously, much to my own surprise. I am usually quite serious and professional but this time, during the last 2 day seminar, I used clowning to demonstrate my displeasure/anger at something. It was quite a rant and quite a performance. I had a wonderful time and when we said good-by, I got hugs of such warmth, I was almost boweled over. Just being my manifestor self brought me 4 people who will stay in my life as friends, it seems. SplManifestor6/3 here., a long time off the roof.

I got two know two days ago that I’m a manifestar 2/4 . Since then I’m understanding lots of things about myself and I stopped punishing myself for not being productive in the way that I don’t feel to as it’s not my energy or my role here. I feel free know to light on my inside fire and move forward new roads that I’ve never recognized myself before even tough people told me about but I didn’t noticed. 1/3 emotional manifestor, Natural shores environment - I need natural shorelines and boundaries in EVERYTHING. I’m also Observed - and looking back at a rest cycle I’m coming out of, I can see how there were times that I was in that sullen energy to basically say: I don’t want to let anyone in right now, I don’t want to inform, and I am intentionally withdrawing my impact at the moment. Very interesting aura to hold, I appreciate HD - it helps me understand myself and how to navigate my experiences.
1/3 emotional manifestor as well. For about a month, I've withdrawn myself as well. Way too many people were attempting to communicate with me. They want to be involved in my life. I just stopped posting on social media, hoping people will forget about me for a bit. Feeling like I need to inform people is absolutely draining. I'm starting my HD experiment, and the informing thing is draining too, because people ask "why" or want details on my plans. I'm better off just disappearing. People are too slow and can't keep up with me. Consequently, they attempt to hold me back because they are not confident in their skills as I am. I've trimmed down my associate and friend group so not so many people are coming to me.

Nah you won't be a slave until the end. At the end of the day Manifestors have the ability to get a distance from what most are completely stuck in. Freedom is the highest value for Manifestors and the 'Call of the Wild' is always in them. You're newly in your Saturn Return cycle - there will be many things for you to be optimistic about as the cycle keep rolling. I suggest you educate yourself about the wealth pathways that can help you use that compensation wisely and, without more work, sidestep the corporate nonsense and find your peace. :)
How is it even possible to do corporate work? Surprised you have not been fired. My experience is that the threat of a mani not needing others validation is enough to get a mani fired.

Wow, this is the best description of a Manifestor yet. I am a 3/5 emotional manifester. My oldest & youngest is a manifestor, my middle daughter is a generator (we vibe so well), and my husband is a MG. I like to joke that a good portion of the manifesters are born in my family.
I'm so thankful to be learning about human design so that I can be a better parent to my kids. The knowledge of my kid's human design charts has smoothed out parenting challenges out for me significantly.

I was re-watching this one today because I have a Manifestor childhood friend that recently started her HD journey as well.
I have known other Manifestors (just one or two haha) during my adulthood and I do feel (or felt when I first met them) some resistance. A resistance that doesn't necessarily mean they are antisocial or unfriendly people. They are just inside their energy "walls". There is some kind of barrier there. At the same time there is also power there, for sure.
With my childhood friend it was quite different. I first met her when we were about 10 yo.
Only after meeting her chart I got to know that she is a Manifestor, but now that I know it, it does makes a lot of sense.
From my experience with her, she is a very "accessible" Manifestor, but that may be because I have known her since we were children. Also, she is a 2/4 Profile. She is a very friendly Manifestor. :)
She likes her time at home and with family and friends. But she does have much impact and energy. 😊 I like her energy and her friendship a lot.
I'm a 6/2 manifestor and am really starting to notice it more and more. People even start telling me about the impact I make in a really positive way. At the beginning of HD I didn't want to recognize it because I was afraid of my ego becoming too big. But it's just the way I operate and I'm allowed to embrace it all the way

I'm so glad I found this!! Lately I've been understanding part of my place in this world is to crack shells. Not always the most pleasant experience for the shell but I'm practicing kindness and gentility.
Also what you said about control really landed. I would also extend it to nurturing. For example I have a couple people in my world right now who want to know how they can "support me". Like what does that even mean? Lol maybe I'm meant to impact them by being confused by their offer? 🤷
I'm a 6/3 manifestor with the 12/22 defined. Loved what you said about the 12/22 drawing people in and them spontaneously opening up. Almost like a vacuum in the space or something. I still don't fully understand how it works but this helped a lot!

THANK you for this- as an Emotional 4/6 Manifestor working my way out of Generator programming I'm finding myself confused about the 'authority' and 'informing', so I'm learning as much as I can. The *impact* side of things I've been aware of all my life but confused by- now that I'm deprogramming from Generator I'm remembering more and more about how I naturally was as a kid and how easily the authority came to me- regal, yes, very solid in myself and my own visions/expression.

I am a manifestor in transformation :) I am coming out of a decade long passive mode and I am on fire 😂 freedom was allways my biggest theme, but on the other hand, I didn't realy knew, what to do with it...I was realy insecure. I still am in some ways. But I allways felt how I inpact people with everything I say or don't say. I could allways feel the shift of energy in people and in the whole group with me only entering a room. With gate 19 I can also calm people down, right away, with two words... And I know sulleness very well. I can feel my 'poker' face and the distance I get with it from people. Thanks again 🌻

I’m a generator(defined G, spleen & root) 6/2 L Clarion with an emotional manifestor(defined throat&Solar p) 4/6 sphinx 2. Both of us are single definition. After 4 yrs, I’ve come to realize that sullenness you spoke of, closed aura etc I have gotten incredibly exhausted. It felt like i was initiating and holding everything together. It is coming to an end slowly however, I have learned so much more about my self.
My nephew is a manifestor with defined root,spleen, solar, will an throat and he is fast. He works hard and gets things done. (6/2 L incarnation, split) when I’m with him, we flow so well and give each other space without needing to explain. There’s this wisdom that crosses between us and we often get this Ding moment.
Two very different manifestors, both are beautiful people so i got to experience both spectrums.

Yes you know manifestors! I had a fun time with a 3/5 manifestor playing various games. They did indeed appear and disappear by magic, make a quick deep impact, and radiate that smile.

Richard--Can you say more about the "now" time frame you're seeing the percentage of manifestors being born increasing from >9% to 10.4%? Curious because the wide-spread belief/view in the HD world is that more projectors are being born.
For those wondering about having a chart done by Richard, can definitely say having purchased one nearly a year ago, it's a comprehensive analysis. I refer to it constantly--keep it open on my laptop . It's been so useful in deepening my understanding of my not self and pre-paving the path of peace, expressing my 5/1 emotional Manifestor design, experimenting with my aura (the projections--quite fascinating), and living into my LAX of informing. Just do it!
Hi CLJ132, Thanks for the question. I use Jovian Archives Rave Stats as they have been collecting inofrmation for decades. It shows that Projectors have increased from 21% to 22.58% and Reflectors from 1% to 1.44%. Man Gens have gone down to 30.44% and Gens down to 35.82%. We used to say 70% were Gens plus MG's now it's 66.26%. Thanks for the recommendation for people to come to me for readings, but at the moment I am not taking any new readings as I'm working on more HD films. Happy to hear you are still in the experiment. Take good care of yourself. :)

Before I discovered HD I used to think everybody could hear God and it would frustrate me that they still made (what I used to call "dum decisons"). But now I understand it's just how we are each designed. You can't do things in a Toyota that you can do in a Ferrari and that's okay. It is what it is. Ferrari owners pay more insurance than Toyota owners so there are conveniences and "inconveniences" to all things. And before you start throwing chairs and tomatoes, I'm not saying Manifestors are Ferraris, I'm just saying.
I only found out a year ago that I’m a 5/1 emotional manifestor. Now I want to know everyone’s chart. I’ve been single for years and it suits me very well. I’m also a healer, perfect strangers tell me their aches and pains all the time. I never understood why people liked me or came to me for advise. I guess they felt something that I didn’t know about myself. Peace is the most important thing to me. I live in the country and watch the sunrise every morning it’s visible. Nature is my favorite place to be. I’m never lonely, I’m always reading, listening, or researching something to do with quantum physics. I have been searching for a reflector and then I realized my personality chart is a reflector and my design is a projector. My favorite day of the month is a new moon day. I cut my hair by the moon phase, and do gardening by the moon phase. It’s kind of funny that I was searching for someone and I was that someone. The transits affect me deeply in many ways. I follow them every day. I will study human design the rest of my life. It’s fascinating to me.

My non blood brother is 6/2 splenic manifestor feels burnt out. So sad. Sullenness over the face... yes this is almost a constant attitude for him. Very independent. Very individual. I never argue back or force anything bc it never works so I say you decide, you don't need to, you don't have to and then I end up getting what I want. lol reverse psychology works well w manifestors from my experience. All good intentions of course. Just know who I am dealing with. Feel free to update your programming with what I said if you are a manifestor or if you are working with a manifestor.
NIKE has it so wrong with their 'Just Do It' motto. Who the hell can in fact? Generators are waiting to respond; Projectors are waiting for invitations; Reflectors, let's not go there... (love you really) and of the Manifestors, who potentially can, 50% of them will be emotional! More waiting. Glad I'm part of the 4% that can 'just do it'. Should I tell NIKE?

Pffft!! I’m a 1/3 Manifestor, right angle cross of tension. People generally think that I’m up to no good immediately and they hate me, or they ignore me completely, as if I’m not even there. Worst human design type of them all. In what sort of sensible universe would people be cursed with this type? Do we exist solely to be organ donors or something? Relationships are near impossible and life is without purpose as a Manifestor. Makes no sense whatsoever.
