Ulsan also ran the most insane gauntlet. Beat Arslan, Knee and then Atif here to win the tournament. Perfect performance.
Atif has been looking so dominant lately and Ulsan just runs right through him, 5-0. Crazy stuff.
Love how Tekken 8 has made the tournament scene more unpredictable/competitive now with less dominance from individual players like Knee and Arslan back in Tekken 7 and Tag 2 with JDCR.
Even Atif couldn't defend against Dragunov with Dragunov
Atif beat Nobi 3:0 then lost to Ulsan 0:5, nothing's impossible for a broken character.
@@doxxu atif beat nobi and nobi could not win a single round. Ulsan beat atif but won many rounds just could not close out any game. Ulsan was dominating atif but there is a difference.
@@ImaLegend113115 rounds to 6 ulsan obliterated atiff
@@apodani1576 yes he destroyed atif no doubt.
@@doxxu exactly. We need to even break down that 3:0. It was actually 9-0. Nine straight rounds. Exceptionally broken chatacter.
Atif getting the same treatment he gave to Nobi 💀.
300k… I might have to get back into Tekken 😂
on god they are cashing out
350, he also got 50k for MVP.
I think in 5 months full-time I can be back on a pro level lol 😂. Haven’t been on a pro level since like Tekken 5
@@thePraddagee T5 was a long time ago..
Crowd full of online scammers and phone operators 😅😅
Glad all the competitors got some money and TOP 8s especially meaning, we'll see more of these great players attending tourneys.
not if visa issues are still a thing
@@islandboy9381 That's mainly US and Japan. If Saudi holds more events, or even Dubai and Abu Dhabi then it would be easy entry for any player. You could also put in any southeast Asian country in that list. I really hope someone they pick it up ,pre and hold more events, not just for T8 but for esports in general.
Damn just this win made Ulsan the richest Tekken Player Atif being 2nd.
Naahh i believe sponsors take the majority cut in the prize money ulsan will only get a percentage
@@LPweezy40% if the sponsor is good they take 30% which is still considering the player gives his full time to the game for preparing for a tournament, but it's fine if they pay the players monthly like Khan and Atif used to get paid monthly even in Corona days when they weren't even playing.
No arslan is the richest considering the amount of tournament he has won 2nd is knee.
@@rehmanspot3526300k alone is more than like 7 evos put together,Not to mention that hardly any tourneys cross the 10K mark
@@rehmanspot3526knee was winning when the tournaments pay was low
Some legendary shit from Ulsan, 5-0 in the biggest Tekken matches ever against probably the favourite
And he did it all whilst making jokes and smiling lol
Not just that. He beat Arslan, Knee, and Atif. That's one hell of a run.
Fvck man you gave me spoiler
There’s no denying the skill in these tournaments, but the amount of dragunov in these tournaments is very boring
This is so real
lol there’s no skill, skill is the devil Jin’s out here trying to win tournaments these guys just know how to abuse mechanics and if u ask me that’s not very skillful
I didn't watch the grand finals because I had no interest in watching a drag mirror match, but across the whole tournament we got some good diversity. We saw some Kuma, Lidia, Kazuya, Jun, Jin, Reina, Lili, Nina, Victor, etc. Overall it was an awesome event
Dragunov is a braindead character. That's why. He needs to be properly balanced. We will see a lot more dragunovs coz of this. He is all too powerful. Harada #NERF DRAGUNOV
The meta of overwhelming plus frames isn’t beneficial to tekken for a defensive game in its history but with this installment he’s overwhelming bc of the high octane offense and his archetype is just suited for this game so if it’s money on the line ofc people are gonna pick drag bc he’s easy and has access to a lot of plus frames , but if you gut that we won’t ever see him again, id say just make his lows very mediocre to compensate for his overwhelming mids so he can still be a viable character
The fact that we have seen a lot of Dragunov mirrors in high level events should make Namco realize that he needs to be adjusted. I don't want him killed but please tone him down so we don't see the mirror as much.
Despite that feeling, congrats to Ulsan for his success at this event. He for sure earned it.
I honestly think that Dragunov is really cool and I really want to play him and know the character well, but he is unbelievably Broken that I'm just not gonna play him until Bamco does something against him, but not to be killed, just to a standard character that has Issues
@@felixstep2066 in your case whether the character is good or not shouldn't worry you. If you legit find him cool then play him. I'm more talking about the people who are only playing him because they know Drag is top tier. Don't let the opinions dissuade you from playing a character you legit like. I just don't want good characters gutted and think they can find a way to adjust him to be good and fair.
I agree! Plus, tier lists do not matter unless you're gunning for World champion. If you're just playing ranked, literally any character can reach god of destruction rank. It's up to the player how much do they wanna learn Tekken to reach that point. @@pheonix2099
It’s mostly qcf4 the problem. That move has to go. I hope they don’t kill dragunov tho, the character is pretty cool (I’m a king main btw).
Nerfing qcf 4 will also nerf his common strings and offense. This should really happen. @@rabusmar
can we talk about Ryan Hart's suit tho???
Grandmaster of drip
Man woke up and decided to flex with that fit
Clean
A most satisfying victory - despite Ulsan's controller issues he prevailed in the most disrespectful manner. Now he can play without ever fearing losing.
What issue bro?
Controller issue? Stop being sarcastic
Ok BOT
Arslan has stick issues
Chikirun uses a controller
He talks about Arslan. Lol.
It was Sephiblack and Arslan who had controller "issues".
*This is a huge backhand slap to Atif's face.*
you could see Atif face while giving Ulsan the trophy !!
Congratulation to Ulsan! What an amazing performance and.. prize
Ulsan showed out, but I'm not surprised. Ulsan is good, like really, REALLY good. He's up there with LowHigh, Knee, Jeondding and Rangchu and them. He was consistently beating Knee in those ATL tournaments over the last few years as well, I believe.
And in his streams earlier this year when he was running Reina, my God...
Ulsan could lose all the remaining tourneys for this year and still be the top earner.
Im also glad the Pakistan vs Korea rivalry was settled in a mirror match. It was an A whooping for the ages and left no doubt.
Settled it's just started in T8. Korea vs Pakistan is the greatest rivalry not just in Tekken but probably in fgc as a whole right now. Xiaohai and punk was also good. But they became friends I hope their rivalry remains.
@@huzaifawajid4333 You know you can settle something and start a new chapter right.
Lol "settled" how it's settled when Pakistan players are the most dominant in the latest tournaments excluding this one 🤡
As Korean I love Pakistan players but some of pakistan fanbois must be humble😅
i wouldn't say the rivalry is settled but ulsan definitely showed a new level to it. i just hope hes consistent in the next tournaments and prove that hes not a 1 trick pony
Atif played too risky with lots of unsafe punishable counter hit moves while Ulsan was very careful using maximum -13 most of the time , wish you all the best Atif and Congratulations for you all .
This character does so much damage for no gaddam reason
5:37
I love CBM'S cheering face for Ulsan! Ulsan's a beast!
Thanks for the amazing video bro
That wasn’t a match, That was a spanking.
There’s always something I liked to say about certain people in these situations since I’ve been playing tekken 3-8 throughout the years, it’s a power I’d like to call “learning curve” it’s basically where someone gets focused and or mad so much in their matches instead of fumbling the bag they end up getting better than their base skills say (ex. The first match comeback that Ulsan pulled)
This award is more than the reward of the Olympic champions
Everybody just needs to remember in the beginning of Tekken 7 dragunov was winning tournaments and in the beginning of Tekken 8 now dragunov is winning tournaments know your history or your doomed to repeat it
I wish lil Majin was in this competition
This was a solid match but Yagami vs Chanel was definitely the best match of the tournament.
been waiting on dis majin 🔥
Atif didn’t let his ego down ! He could change to other character possibly it could be different result ! GG to Ulsan
poor atif.. he had so much faith in that dragunov.. or maybe a ego thing? ulsan smiling after winning every round was priceless 😂
Probably. Dragunov is the best character no doubt, and he was known to be the best Dragunov and has success with the character as well as the mirror match.
HARADA has to realize with what ULSAN just did to ATIF and what ATIF did to both THE JON and NOBI in a recent tourney, that DRAGUNOV NEEDS NERFING!!!
Atif and Arsalan r super star of Pakistan and we always proud what they achieved in Taken and show the whole world that Pakistan is the best in Taken. IN SHA ALLAH they will win more tournaments in future.
Pakistan isn’t the best at tekken in the world. Korea has more titles than Pakistan by a lot
Sounds like I'm hearing Barry White commentate on Tekken
This production is amazing. This is over in Saudi Arabia???
Is there like no counterpick for dragunov cause damn his been in most grand finals😭
It doesn't matter how well you can do something, there's always an Asian who can do it better.
I definitely think the PS4 controller is the best pad, if you play claw (which king players often do because of demanding inputs) maybe try a cheap leverless
Ulsan gonna have a picture of that cancer Dragunov in his home for giving him such great success.
bombaclatt
How much dragunov do you want... YES
review jon king vs double in top 8 ewc
Yo you need to do a reaction video on yagami’s semi-final match. It was insane! I don’t want to spoil it for you but it’ll go down in the books of one of the lost legendary comebacks ever!
LiL Majin what do you think where did Atif go wrong?
Jabs, down forward, whiff punish from Ulsan not blocked
Fear of losing money 😂
Used an OP character for so long doing the same OP moves all the time, when Ulsan dismantled him with the jabs his brain totally shut down he had no answers, that is what happens when you're in autopilot for too long you're no longer on your toes.
@@Justlookingaround19true! Fundamental tools still win out by the end of the day
The reason why Ulsan's jabs, df1's, and whiff punish attempts weren't blocked enough, was because Atif was spamming big moves and kept getting clipped. Atif was committing too much to high value moves and Ulsan kept shutting him down using smaller, simpler tools, and pulled out bigger moves unpredictably to throw Atif off.
Atif was also spamming d2's out of desperation but Ulsan kept ignoring that bait and mostly committed to countering Atif's mid's and high's.
Ulsan had great reads on Atif's strings and duck/sidestep punished so many times during the set.
He was outsmarted and couldn't adapt before the set was over.
Altif said Drav is op and needs to be nerf after this.
Dragunov needs buffs for atif
Are we forgetting what happened to Nobi at evo
@@mobilemontsi2481 but what happened against ulsan demands either dragunov buffs or akuma
@@mobilemontsi2481 Nobi was crushed at Evo like embarrassing way . but i like 2 HD cameras on players controllers also Arslan ash complained about his controller !!?!? maybe controller is reprogramed and hacked by pakistani hackers ? big claim i know but they way Atif played with Nobi was tekken God and Nobi tekken player .
lmao
Ulsan always been better. He just let yall think he wasnt lol
That’s some good ass Tekken
drag mirror matches every gf ZZZZZZZ
Yo Majin you should react to Yagami vs Chanel. That was set of the tournament and probably one of the best tekken 8 competitve sets I've seen so far.
dragunov will be nerf for sure 😂
ulsan just shitted in atif's mouth. what a player
Are u okay bro?
Two Dragunovs 🤗 My favorite character is in the grand finals!!! 🎉🎉🎉
What happened to the audio at the end? Also it's so sad that Atif couldn't win a match.
I hope Ulsan gets his money.
NGL Tekken tours were more of an Olympic right now.... PAKISTAN vs. KOREA
True Asian skillz!!!
Match was Dedicated for NOBI
Oh easy money king 😉
Great reaction ❤
pakistans monthly income is $250 USD
Grand final, cash involved - everyone is playing safe With drags
When are we going to see you in an international tournament again?
ride off to the sunset, dats right
Majin please get rid of these bots 😭
We all want him to join tournaments, I don't know what he is waiting for
As soon as my parents leave home.
Me (right): 0:00
jump into tournament majin it's time.
Yeah 100k in Pakistan is literally like 30mil in us
Atif looked like amateur in front of Ulsan’s Dragunov. He tilted & nothing could have worked for him at that point. Once you have the fear of loss enter your head you basically accept a loss & stop fighting
Did Ulsan go to evo this year?
Ulsan really put in the work, he deserves the win! but also god i'm so tired of dragunov
Majin u blocking dude face . We need to see the emotional transitions after losing 5 straight
100% psychological battle. Ulsan somehow came over his nervousness, whereas Atif let it get the better of him. Skillwise they're both pretty even.
I agree Im used to Sony dpad it's the closest to super nes
Dam don’t like a grand final mirror match but that was good to watch
Dragonov 8 Grand Finals
Dragunov needs a nerf
Winning every tournament 😂
5:0 ?????????????????????????? OMG
If purses are this big, you'll see a resurgence of Tekken in Korea. No point in playing it's hard to survive playing for $100-$20,000 earnings here with such low pay in fighting games.. kids will play league of legend. right now these guys like Knee, JDCR, LowHigh and older gamers are forced to continue to play because they wont be able to find job as only former gamer..
Hey man, been watching you since your EVO moment
Can you also do a reaction on Yagami's comeback vs Chanel too? Thanks
Very demure, very mindful
There it is... dragunov city!! BORING!!!!!! We will see what they do about this...
In Pakistan they use bomb 💣 and rdx for texting 😅
@@highdegree9059 ahh a jealous indian spotted🤣🤣
у них ведущий Kawhi Leonard?
2 Dragunovs 😂
Justice for nobi
Would've been much more enjoyable to watch if it wasn't for the outcome spoiler in the thumbnail.
Is that 300k US?
Yes
Chokeistan 🇵🇰 😂 Atif got absolutely dog walked 😂
Dang
Atif should have switched after 2 losses in a row....but bro threw it all... oh well :/
Also the lack of Kings in these tournaments is soo booooriiing. Like I wanna see a couple of good King players...not just a single guy...
💪🦁👍
Atif should have changed characters
He couldn’t even get 1 win. That’s tough. He sucked this game
BRING GOUKI BACK FOR ATIF :)
Ulsan looks like he's on adderal
Bro you gon get in the smoke with the demons or u just gon make content?
No doubt ATIF is one of the best ....but he needs to develope himself in order to be on 1st place.
This is the first time ulsan comes first in such a big tournament
He still won 150,000 for being second
@@ketikteks except it's literally not......
tekken 8 needs a dragu nerf 4 god sake
Atif is the best Dragonv player ❤️
