Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV
Jiminy cricket, is what people need, today, thank you for your eloquence in your exposition of the Bible, I prefer your videos over the local congregation for I grow spiritually with you, but I don't at the local congregations..
Romans 2:9 & 10 means the literal opposite of mainstream Christian interpretations. First of all, "Jew" is IOUDAIOS and should therefore be translated as JUDAEAN, it means inhabitant of Ioudaia/Judaea, not someone born to Jewish parents anywhere in the world - two very different groups of people. And the word "Gentile" not only means the opposite of what it originally meant when it was used in Latin translations of the bible, "of the same family, clan, or nation", but the word there is actually HELLEN, meaning a GREEK. Paul is referring to the remnant of Israelites from the House of Judah known as Judaeans by that time with Israelites from the House of Israel, many of whom were then known as Greeks. To the Judaean first refers to the fact that the Israelite remnant that was still in the land received the fulfillment of God's promises to the father's first, but that the dispersed Israelites also received its fulfillment after. These are the 2 Sticks in Ezekiel's hand - the northern 10 tribes carried away captive and dispersed among the nations and the 2 southern tribes. Reunited through Christ in the New Covenant (Jer 31:31-33).
My Bible does NOT say the same re: Roman’s 2:14 Hi Fran. I hope you’re doing well. You didn’t answer my last text. I hope that that is not for a reason. I’m not even sure this text will get to you but I will try because I can’t help but thinking about this and your father. I am reading Romans chapter 2 starting with verse 14. This is what it says. “When Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though they not having the law, or a law to themselves. They show that with the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or PERHAPS EXCUSE THEM on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will JUDGE THE SECRET THOUGHTS OF ALL.” I take that to mean that our Father, through Christ Jesus, looks into the hearts of all and determines their place in His kingdom.
1 Timothy 1:Greeting 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope, 2 To Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. No Other Doctrine 3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia-remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. 5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, 6 from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, 7 desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. 8 But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, 9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust. 1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

Who is Fran?
You might have a different Bible from what Pastor David G is using
God’s standards apply to the moral man AND the immoral man. I stand corrected.
1 Timothy 1:Greeting
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope,
2 To Timothy, a true son in the faith:
Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
No Other Doctrine
3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia-remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.
18 Now
“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
