- In this first teaching in the book of Romans, Skip Heitzig introduces you to the apostle Paul, a self-titled slave of Jesus Christ whose top priority in life was not to hoard the gospel but rather herald it to as many people as he could. In order to give a full treatise of the good news, Paul began his letter to Roman believers by first explaining the bad news: as sinners, we're all under the wrath of God.
This teaching is from the series 45 Romans - 2021 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.
I'm an 85yo Australian widow and have read and studied God's Word almost all my life. God revealed your msgs on You Tube recently which I shared with the small group of God's girls that afternoon in my home. We were thrilled to hear the Word expounded so clearly. Today's msg has been exciting to hear as we love Paul's letter to the Romans. Thank you thank you thank you.

Repent and be baptized in JESUS name and receive the holyghost with evidence of speaking in toungs. Holyghost make u holy and without it you are not holy.

My MOST excellent teacher. It's like he knows I need to have the Bible explained as if I was in the K grade level. Step by step and in depth both theologically AND historically. Rich teaching, VERY RICH TEACHING, indeed.
Please forgive me for saying, but I find it funny that you say you need things explained in a K grade leveel yet you use the term "helogically." I am 51 and a college student and I don't know what that means.

This is the best Bible teacher I’ve ever known. He lays it out there the way people like myself can easily learn. Some of us have a difficult time learning what’s going on, exactly, in the Bible, but with his teachings, those difficult times fly right out o the window.
These teachings are fantastic!!! I've listened to a lot of teachers and Skip is one of the best. He is always true to the Gospel and he explains things in an excellent manner, infusing a little humor, as well!!! He is humble and provides messages that are so needed for today's world. I truly appreciate these videos and am so thankful for them!!!
Pastor Skip, please pray for me for healing for intense pain at my lower back due to a nerve pressing on my lower back bone.
I have consulted the bone specialists bt nothing works.
There are times when the pain is so bad that I will be crying.

im here because i saw your chapters 8 ,which are my favorite ones 8 and 9, after those I noticed that you have the whole book and I said to my self ,why not,why not go with them through the whole book, my favorite books romans and hebrews, I love the whole bible but as I am learning and as I am being set free I'm rejoicing on this scriptures, thank you ,be the Lord continue using you.

Hello @Anchored in Christ! And thank you for watching Calvary Church on RUclips! While Pastor Skip will use different translations from time to time he generally uses the New King James Version (NKJV). Thank you!
I am very curious, what part of the Bible was that story of the Samaritan having famine ,and the leopards outside of the city? Is there a reference for that? Or is it just allegory commentary from the preacher because I don’t think he’s given a biblical address. Either way it does not matter because it is a great story of the leopards, and how they kept silent.

Can anyone help me here, Paul was in Romans presenting an argument, systematically, for the way that we are redeemed. Or justified, he presents the view if his adversary, in the form of objections or questions, this way of presenting your argument, has a specific name, and this was done in antiquity. Right, the great thinkers of that time or before, used this method. The name of this method escapes me. Anyone know what I am referring to?

@@DwainCurtis thank you, it's a great teaching tool that students should learn more of. , really teaches you how to present your argument, and dismantle your opponents view. Aquinas was also great at this.
