Well Slayer screwed Dave Lombardo. They started sucking after Divine Intervention, but got better again once Lombardo came back, THEN sucked again with Repentless, and went out on a low note. Bostaph should have stayed with Forbidden.

Jake E Lee ? Interesting. Sadly Vince never was replaced with a lead singer that had could be a leader. Especially singing live and working a crowd.
Vince's value to the band was in the studio. There was nobody better than Vince when it came to picking up lunch while in the studio. Sixx- extra mayo. Mars- no onions. Lee- side of ranch. There was no door dash in those days so Vince showed his true value in this way. Door dash stole Neil's delivery ideas.
The self titled album with Corabi was the best thing Crue ever did, Mick Mars even said so.

I'm not the biggest fan of motley cruel but I know the riffs the guitarist laid down was the reason why I listened to them. The other 3 members of the band should realize that Mars was the fuel the band relied on. I hate the clichéd guitar solos of hair bands but mars soloing was different, especially "home sweet home." No speed soloing, but tasty notes without waste. Mars was the genius of motley crue.
