That is a beautiful rig. I am not a driver but my dad drove for many years in the 60's and 70's. I do like trucks and appreciate the people who drive them.

We had a 79 transtar 2 big cam 3 cummins w/ 13 speed
Started out in a International Cab Over. Poole trucking company truck. When I see them now I have to do a double take. They beat you to death. Seven Speed Transmission. They hated the mountains and we're bad about overheating. Went to work for a Company that put me in a Volvo. I didn't know how to act.

BEAUTIFUL Full Restoration!!.... one of the Best I've ever seen in my nearly 50 years of trucking (27 years as an O/O)... Incredible Detail throughout!! The Only "disappointment" for me, was the "Cum-a-part" under the doghouse. : ( lol : ) .....too bad (in my view.. "possibly" Not yours) you could not have found one of the rare T-Stars with the V12... and considering your attention to supreme detail... a V12 would have REALLY looked (and Sounded) Awesome under it.... Yess!!... with 6 or 7" pipes feeding into some nice old Riker "steel packs" or "Auger" mufflers and the governor set at 2,350..... would have been the Ultimate Transtar COE on the planet!!!
I Love the matching Timpte Super Hopper.... Beautiful combination!! Many Thanks for the video... but some narrative explaining the "build" instead of the background "noise" would have been Much More preferable.... perhaps another video with a complete "walk through" with Narrative... and YES, by all means... "we" all want to see the cab interior.... considering the outside detail and overall finish.... we "just know" that the interior has Got to be just Sumptuously finished!! Thanks again! : )

Both fine looking trucks. We didn't get Ford LTL in Australia til I think mid 1980s, the LNT and to a lesser degree LTS were popular with owner operators and fleets.
