Omak is one of the three coolest places in the US along with Boston and Ithaca. I lived in Omak for my Elementary and Jr. High School years. My family and I lived in the apartment building on main street with the RODEWAY INN AND SUITES & the cinema across the street and GENE'S HARVEST FOODS in the back.
Awesome drone work, some good boots to the memory! Could nearly see one of the houses my grandmother lived in. Keep up the good work. Soon as Spring's back solid, I'm going to go up to the top of Moses Mt and get some drone footage. Good adventure all the way around!
We lived in Omak from 1984 until 1989 when I worked as a speech therapist in the schools while finishing my doctoral dissertation. We really enjoyed our time, and met some wonderful people. From viewing the video, it appears that the town has really grown.
I went to omak last week and have to go back I lived in wa all my life never seen a place like this before. It’s really out in nowhere land. But the people were so nice here. Would I ever move here from seattle absolutely not. But a beautiful place.
