It's just manufactured for TV debate. Orlovsky had to play a clown for a segment. It was a good close game and Allen was playing roughly as well as Mahomes, but Allen/playcalling royally screwed the pooch at the end. A first down would have been better than a TD in many ways. A first down meant Chiefs were going to have 0 timeouts when/if they got the ball back. Then a FG would have actually had a good chance to go to OT. A TD would have almost certainly sealed the game. But going for it with the timeouts and time the Chiefs had meant a FG even if made was all but meaningless and a TD probably gives them probably little better than a coinflip to win(I still like Mahomes to make it happen but this year was rough on his 4th qtr magic).

but we’ve seen this movie before. that big arm guy outta some small school playing in a cold weather town that loves football and threw a bunch of picks but made some seriously spectacular plays so the interceptions were overlooked and everybody loved him. he’s literally living Brett Favre‘s life without the MVPs and the SB. like when Barry broke 2k yards rushing for the third time in league history and he had to share the MVP with Favre that year. it was a joke
Exactly. I don’t understand this love affair for Josh Allen when he constantly loses these games. Mahomes has been to 6 straight afc championships. It’s not a rivalry. It’s not even close
Mahomes and Lamar are unequivocally the two best QBs of this era and it's been that way for years. Yet the media and NFL won't accept or acknowledge that. For..."reasons". Some of us know exactly what those reasons really are...
Thank you for big picture perspective. Going into LAST year's postseason, I've been expecting Chiefs vs Bengals (barring injury, just like we saw this year) every year.
Josh Allen is a beast, he is one of the best QBs in the NFL but he does need a little luck like Mahomes get sometimes.😊 But yesterday, I will say that Allen target choices and one bad pass cost the Bills the game.
I mean he did have a lucky day, Chiefs fumbled thru the endzone, Conner doesn’t fall on the ball Josh fumbled. Absolutely massive plays that couldve been a 14 point swing in favor of the Chiefs and made this more lopsided. Mahomes is levels above Allen
@@tannerseditsto make it this far in the playoffs he is that guy. Diggs failed him several times and is definitely overrated. The Chiefs missed more clear scoring opportunities than the Bills. It’s really silly to say Josh was let down as if the Chiefs did not give away the ball twice. Chiefs could’ve run away with the game in the 2nd or 3rd quarter
The Bills ran 78 plays to KC’s 47 which 3 of those were kneel downs. So they ran 44 plays. Buffalo had the ball 37min KC had the ball 23 min Please. Buffalo had ALL THE CHANCES to score and they didn’t. Allen did not come through for them. They only scored 0 points in the last 19 minutes of the game. And that 2nd down on the final drive. That was all Allen being greedy. And stupid. Why go for the touchdown. And give Mahomes the ball with 2min left. But it’s all on that darn kicker right? Allen can’t handle big moments. It’s just his thing.
Josh fumbled the ball and was lucky our player was dumb to try to scoop the ball instead of jumping on it. Mahomes made no mistake and Josh folded during the pressure. He had three opportunities in the 30 yard line to make a touchdown or get a new first set of downs but he failed.

Refs beat the bengals in that game. We’ll never know. Bc without that bogus as late hit call that game goes to OT and we get to see them slug it out but instead refs ruined an amazing game .
I swear Josh Allen is the only guy that can constantly lose in the playoffs and still have people cape for him, every other qb it’s about wins and Ls but with Josh it’s “oh but he played so well”
Media just loves his baby face. Mahomes lost to Brady with an entire backup O line and was having receivers dropping TD's that were hitting them in the facemask and there was no coddling for him.
Analysts and some fans desperately want him to be the face of the league. He turns the ball over with stupid decisions sometimes and the media just shrugs and says that's just "who he is".😐 Meanwhile Lamar gets absolutely crucified by some people even when a loss isn't his fault. The double standard is just crazy
As a packers fan, I remember so many instances where Aaron Rodgers played great games and was let down by the defense and the media crushed him for not “Stepping up” every single time. RC is right the greats find ways to win great games and don’t get excuses made for them. The romance between the media and Josh Allen needs to be studied.

Tom Brady has played awful in some games and his defense or kicker has bailed him out and he still gets credit because of one incredible drive to set them up for the win. Unfortunately quarter basket credit for the wins as well as the losses, despite how they play
Josh Allen had no problem scoring when the game started. Running up and down the field. BUT when it mattered most Josh Allen couldn't get it done! Stop making excuses! He's the leader of that team so it's on him! 💯💯💯
Facts, I hate Josh Allen and it is not his fault. Crazy. He is really good player but these guys never blame him for anything. How many picks does he have again? And his running back is really good and his coaching so he is not doing it himself.

Fact
Dak doesn't deserve to be mentioned with Allen and Lamar
Lamar has the most mid stats this season tho 😂
Lamar is trash. Cam 2.0 is mid. He had one good season the rest suck. He’s lucky he’s on an already good team.
@@cbolton81I can see a hater from a mile away
Vinatiere was consistently put into positions to kick those clutch field goals. It's why Brady is recognized how he is. More times than not, like Mahomes, he delivered.
Brady put Vin in that position to be a HOF kicker
@@reversetriangle manning too
TOM BRADY WAS FAVORED BY THE CURRENT NFL. GTFO. THEY CHEATED THE RAIDERS ON BEHALF OF BRADY. CHANGED THE RULES FOR BRADY, INFLATE GATE, SPY GATE. ALL YOU BRADY CULTISTS😂😂😂 RUSSELL WILSON AND PETE CARROLL GAVE HIM A FREEBEE 😂😂😂THIS NFL IS A JOKE…WWE
No wonder Dan Orlovsky was garbage when he played QB. His whole analysis is wrong. Don't forget Dan still thinks Mac Jones is an elite QB. Lmao
They want Josh Allen to be Peyton Manning so badly. It's kind of pathetic.
And its not lol. When Brady v Manning was a thing, Manning was already an MVP. Josh Allen hasn't even done that yet.
Right?! The closest thing we have to Brady v Manning is Mahomes v Burrow. Burrow has at least been to a Super Bowl!
In reality he's Philip Rivers. Unquestionably talented, but overshadowed by the actual great quarterbacks of his generation.
@@timwormusit’s all about the team. If Josh Allen was on the chiefs yesterday he would have won. He has to do everything. Mahomes is just feels like doesn’t have to do as much as Josh allen
We’ll the difference is Peyton was actually good Josh Allen sucks
what they fail to mention is that Patrick made fewer mistakes and Josh like usual, made two grave errors in that final drive...He didn't need to got deep on 2nd and 3rd, he just needed 8 to keep it alive or give his kicker a better shot. Josh's decision making is what costs them every time. They didn't even mention the fact Chiefs could have easily been up 30 on them...Chiefs opened the door and Josh couldn't get it done...Greats get it done.
So basically the same script they have a shootout then a mysterious mistake happens after they've played good the whole game just to choke in the clutch
take what they give you. Mahomes knows the situation allen dosen:t if he hits the guy in the endzones with 150 to play Mahomes comes down and wins anyway bleed the clock
With the drops Diggs had yesterday, including one on that final drive, how do we know that didn't affect the decision-making? Josh didn't have confidence in Diggs to make the catch when he needed him to, so he went to Shakir, who has been the most reliable option for the Bills for several weeks as far as catching the football.
This game was scripted
@@Saltpounder513Mahomes threw two to MVS talk about who should have no confidence in receivers. 😅
Rc said the same thing I was thinking towards the end of the game. Josh and the oc got away from what was working at first. Josh started trying to play hero ball and it cost them the game.
The chiefs made an adjustment and stopped their run game
@@brianhenry7983 I get that but Josh was trying for deep shots when he had some easy completions. Credits to chiefs for tightening up
Thank you! Exactly this! They had a winning formula and were in the position they wanted. Two minute drill with the ball in their hands to win the game...and they regressed to past game issues. Make it make sense!
@wavxyshaun8799 on the field and our perspective are 2 different things tho. Usually if wide open WR aren't hit with the ball it's because the qb can't see the player. Usually a lineman blocking view aswell as keeping an eye out for pressure. Easy to make judgements and see everything from watching from above.
Ryan Clark shut everybody up at 5:15 😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥
