There are actually 2 hospitals in Torrance with plenty of doctors near each one. Yes, it is fairly green with over 90,000 trees and our own little island of protected wilderness known as the Madrona Marsh. We have our own fire department and our own bus system. Six libraries. Five post offices. Two museums. Two art galleries.A city pool. Our own airport and a historical society. Our Armed Forces Day Parade is the nation’s longest running military parade sponsored by any city. We always have a float in the Rose Parade and a great fireworks display on the 4th of July. The city is dedicated to ongoing training and education of our police officers and recently added a new K9 solely to locate missing persons.
Let me give you The Real Deal. Pros: Tons of stuff to do. Close to the Beach. Cons: Certain parts of Torrance are Very Racist It's a dump and Overpriced.
