EQ 005 - Guinness World Record EV Parade

- The previous world record for the largest parade of electric cars was 402. On October 24th, 2021 we set a new world record in St-Hyacinthe, in the province of Québec, and blew away the original number with a grand total of 733 pure electric cars! I was not supposed to make a video about the event, but once on site I could not resist so I pulled out my cell phone and saved some dashcam footage to throw this quick video together. I hope you enjoy it, I had lots of fun taking part in this epic event.

It was a funny situation to not have bloopers. Since I had not planned on making this video and was just going to participate in the event, but decided to make a video, I just pulled out my cell phone and said whatever came to my mind and did not worry about the results... and no bloopers!

Another amazing video Andre! Two things: 1. Being from Toronto and having spent years commuting on 18 lanes of the Trans-Canada, I can't imagine purposefully getting together to cause traffic, but it's for a great cause, so well done! and 2. At 5:28 in the video (and earlier) you point out the "nice car". What kind of car is it? I didn't recognize it.
Thank you very much. Actually were were in an industrial area on a Sunday morning so it was just us. The nice car you ask about was a Niro EV like mine, but white 😎

Congratulations!!!! Wish I was there, my girlfriend and I have 2 electric cars on order but sadly they are still not quite ready yet. Our ICE cars have been really good to us, but time to move on. Can't wait!

@@EV-olution First: A 2022 Bolt EV (back in June).
But with the battery recall which halted production, we decided to also buy a 2022 Kona hoping it will come sooner.
@@CheesePuffJay the nice thing is that GM restarted production of the Bolt and Bolt EUV this week so things should start moving again. I hope you get your car soon.
Salut André, sur internet je vois beaucoup d'info comme quoi une Kia Niro EV SX Touring 2020 peut remorqué une charge soit de 1,060 ou 2,800 lbs est ce possible ?
Au Canada la Niro EV n'est pas autorisée par Kia pour remorquer malgré qu’il soit possible dans d’autres pays. Si vous avez un attache remorque et le filage requis, et qu'un problème arrive avec votre Niro EV, Kia peut refuser de couvrir les réparations sous garantie en indiquant que vous avez remorqué, ce qui n’est pas permis, et que c’est la cause du problème.
