Aran, even Inisheer, have commercial centers.
They also have a ton more exposed stone.
If the Blaskets, it'd have to be Beginish, but I'm not feeling it.
Lettercallow has this going for it - They could get the film crew there by car. There is a difference between "Where they want to invoke" and "where would be a useful location". Not sold on Lettercallow though either.

It was filmed Lettercallow, Co. Galway I think.
