    Silly question but, forgive me, I’m in the US. When you refer to northern, southern, eastern, and western exposures; can I assume the opposite or is it not that easy to convert sun direction from northern vs. southern hemispheres?

    • @Patchypup
      @Patchypup 6 месяцев назад +5

      Only southern and northern exposure is opposite, eastern and west would be the same. So in northern hemisphere you would want southern exposure for most sun (ie the direction to the equator relative to you)

      Just a possibility, but could be Acacia binervia c.v. 'Sterling Silver'.

    I find it almost suicidal when people living in the sub-tropics or tropics don't garden. It's easy over there. Try gardening in temperate or cold climate. That requires skills and patience.

      It's easy provided you have enough water, where as if you have a very hot dry summer like we've been having in Perth this year, then it's a constant battle to keep everything alive and prevent all your plants leaves from getting burnt in the midday sun.

    • @introtwerp

      Actually living in a temperate climate is much easier because y’all have richer soil and gentler climatic conditions! Whereas we have to battle summer pests degraded sun bleached soil etc all you need to worry about is frost dates
