As a gun owner with children myself, there is NO reason to have of that stuff laying around your house. ESPECIALLY not loaded. You have the right to own the firearms, if you’re not responsible with them, you don’t need them.

At first I thought just let the cop see her so he can leave no fuss no muss. But she had a great explanation. The cop would show mom and Carl they just have to call welfare checks to contact baby girl. It was called in falsely by two people that aren’t supposed to have contact with baby girl. The cop should really check with supervisors and cps rather than demand to see the kid. Also she gave him CPS’s number. I’m sure she’s not scared of you calling

That “cop” makes me uneasy. If you say no cops have to leave. The insistence makes me sketch af. Claire or someone has to call CPS. Also “we’ll get CPS involved” like duh they already are.
You don't need proof for a wellness check, because all the cops do is make sure the person is fine. If they are, the cops just call whoever asked and tell them that they're fine

She's doing the right thing no good police officer would keep pushing the matter the cop obviously knows the parents
I honestly believe either that is a friend of bio parents or not an actual cop. Viewing the paperwork should have ended the conversation
