Yes very good point, why do you have a background music when you demonstrating sound and noises?
It was hard to make a difference between noises when you were playing it, I have a side-by-side LG and it has a humming (bass) noise really loud I can't sleep with that I have to turn off the refrigerator every night.
I like how they totally dismissed any irregular sounds like the one my 1 week old fridge is making.
Thanks LG!

Due to loud background music the actual sounds for which the video is made are difficult to understand

Hi there, we bought LG fridge a month ago. First freezer wasn't working so it got replaced. I'm just wondering is it normal for a compressor whooshing fan noise all the time 24/7?
I just bought one and mine does this. Also I can hear the compressor running a lot too. I read a lot of reviews that said very quiet or no noise at all but that is not true.
I pulled out my entire fridge thinking maybe a rat was behind it 😂 I should’ve started by watching this video lmaooo

How often should we hear the compressor noise and how long should it last? Is it normal to hear it from up to 30 feet away if TV is off and rooms are quiet?

I have owned my lg LFCS27596s for 6 months and after Thanksgiving it started to make really loud consistent noise called the warranty for maintenance he thought I was standing by an ac unit outside when I told him it was the fridge the temp was still reading 34 but everything thing felt hot so I used a thermometer and it read 60 and then the code ff came on and freezer went out. Repair guy coming on Wednesday what a disaster not to mention I had insulin in the refrigerator that needed to be cool just frustrated with the cost and reliability

Our new LG fridge is making a banging sound every once in a while on the side where the water and ice are located. We currently do not have it hooked up for water and ice and I turned the ice maker off. I am not sure if it is coming from the water part. It sounds like it is trying to make ice or something, loud bang.

*Fridges have become torture machine ,I've just bought a new whirlpool it's making me crazy,I'm going back to my old fridge,it's been working for 20 years with zero problem.*
My 1-year old LG started to make a new air-burst-like noise coming from the bottom freezer. I opened the freezer drawer, and the sound was much louder, clearly coming from the air opening at the back. Intermittent, about everything 2 seconds or so, short bursts of noise coming from the back opening. Almost scary. No other noise from the fridge at that moment. Completely silent in between bursts.
Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG refrigerator. We understand that unusual noises can be concerning, especially when they seem intermittent and loud. The sound you're hearing could be related to the airflow or the fan within the freezer compartment, which can sometimes produce air bursts as it operates.
Does it make a rattling, thumping, or humming noise? If so, these sounds may be the result of the cooling motor (compressor) or the fan when the refrigerator resumes operation after stopping. Once the temperature inside the refrigerator stabilizes, these noises will gradually decrease, much like when you start a vehicle-there is initially loud noise and severe vibration, but it diminishes as the engine warms up. Additionally, humming, buzzing, and whizzing noises may be heard during the process of producing cold air.

I’ve had the LG thinQ for almost 2 weeks. It makes a lot of noise. Really loud whooshing air sounds and low frequency humming that is getting louder each day. Is this normal or did I get a bad one? There were so many good reviews about how quiet this fridge is but it has been anything but quiet. I would say it’s been constant noise. I can’t stand to be in my kitchen now.
Hi, we realize how a noise issue in your fridge can impact your kitchen experience. Allow us to help! During normal operation, refrigerators can make different noises. A whooshing sound heard from your fridge is normal. On the other hand, so that we can look into the low frequency humming, please contact us via DM on Twitter or PM on Facebook. mine makes a silent squeaking and water-flowing sound. I think it's a water shut-off valve that is the culprit.
By the way I forgot to mention the replace fridge/freezer GS-B655PL is now working, however the whooshing fan compressor at the back is always on/noise all the time, we are wondering if this is normal? Thank you.

How to remove/ reduce these sounds? Sometimes its too irritating
Hey there. To reduce noise from your LG refrigerator, ensure it is properly leveled by adjusting the legs and confirming it isn't touching cabinets or walls. Clean the condenser coils regularly to improve airflow and check that the doors are aligned and closing securely. If the noise persists, inspect for damaged parts or use sound-dampening materials near the compressor. For further help, send us a private message on social message on social media @LGUSSupport. But my fridge didn t hum for 20years but it s now humming why is that?
Hi! Your refrigerator's humming noise may be a result of uneven doors, your refrigerator not being level, or it could indicate a deeper compressor issue; that all being said, the humming noise is also a normal operation of the refrigerator, but it shouldn't last more than 1 hour. My LG makes a sound like someone blowing bubbles through a straw in a paper cup filled with water. It also takes forever to cool down. The ice maker works fine and the freezer does too but the frige area never gets down to 40 degrees. I suspect the recirculating fan above the evaporator doesn’t work as it has completely iced up twice. Took me 3 hours to melt with a hair dryer. I hate LG refrigerators.

Just the sounds with no music or talking would be great. Have the sounds and the narration separate.
After closing door some bip sound comes
Hey there! Dealing with a beeping door alarm? No worries, we've got you covered. First off, let's figure out if it's a push-button or magnetic switch. If it's a push-button, simply hold it for a minute, and if it's a magnetic switch, try using a magnet on the sensor to possibly stop the beeping. Also, check to ensure all door hinges are nice and tight and that the doors are even, as this could be causing the alarm. If you need to, find the control panel and give the "Alarm/Lock" button a press to hush the beeping. Let us know if this helps, we're always here for you. ^ Diego

Ok....., understand that refrigerators make noise, but the noise coming from our nearly new (14 months) LG LRFCS25D3S 33" French Door Refrigerator is not smooth, it's not a motor 'whirrrr'ing or 'hummm'ing sound, it's often a hard knock, knock, knock, and thump, thump, thump and thud, thud, thud on occasion. It's not consistent in tone or volume, as noted, so while it 'whirrrrs and hummmms, it also thumps, knocks, and thuds on occasion, not always, just sometimes as in 2-3 maybe 3-4 times a week.
So,... Am I to be concerned? It is concerning, the noises it makes, but, can I safely ignore these thuds, thumps and, just remembering, sometimes a whining that seems a bit too strenuous, concerning but, who knows? Maybe it's supposed to sound like this? If it is, it's loud enough to disturb a quiet night home watching telly, so, thinking need to pay attention to decibel volumes when shopping refrigerators, who knew?
Any helpful thoughts welcome,

@@LGUSASupport Hi Folks, thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, I have to point out that if LG's only route for Support is via Twitter or Facebook than that informs me that I have most certainly made a very bad choice in buying my appliances from this group. Had I known before I bought I would not have made the purchases. Don't get me wrong, Twitter and Facebook are fine, but I am dead-set against being forced to have a relationship with a third-party platform that is far-tangent to the relationship I expect to have when working with the team that I am spending significant dollars but more so, significant trust, in. Who thought this was a good idea? An analogy for the inappropriateness might be along the lines of standing in the middle of a crowded downtown in heaviest rush-hour and shouting out all of my personal problems. Think about it, not far from on point, some may feel perfectly comfortable shouting in a crowd, but a polite Host would not put their Guests in such a situation, certainly not one that hopes to have further commercial relationship opportunities. Enough..., going to now research where my next refrigerator is going to come from when this 14-month old dies, as it apparently is heading towards.

Worst experience with LG door-in-door fridge. It is simply impossible to adjust it to get rid of heavily annoying low frequency noise. Sound disappears when simply push fridge little bit with hand, as you release it - it is back again. After LG service visit it became even worse. After fully adjusted it begins to rattle after some time and you need to readjust it again. Even if you get rid of rattle, low frequency noise does not disappear. I do not recommend LG
