To be honest I'd don't care if it's fried or grilled as long as it's good quality for a few bucks I'll be fine So Yeah I don't care much about it, I'd gladly eat both
Burger King always had the best playgrounds, at least for my brother and me growing up in Portland, OR in the early 80’s. We would hint and beg our parents to maybe take us there and after awhile of dropping hints and being good they would take us and we would spend at least an hour, maybe two on the wooden playground with sawdust chips while our parents hung out inside drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. I don’t think there was ever a time that at least one of us didn’t leave with splinters that my dad would have to remove with tweezers when we got home. All in all, we did like the food but we mostly just wanted to play. When McDonald’s started getting better playgrounds we would sometimes go there but still preferred Burger King food. My favorite thing was the strawberry shakes and the kids meals. Can’t really remember the toys but I do remember when Return of the Jedi came out, Burger King promoted the movie and you had a chance to win prizes. I actually won a really nice frisbee and I played with it for years after. I’m sure it would be worth something if it was never used but it would never be worth as much as the years of fun I had with it as a kid.
The burger wars between McDonald's and Burger King were great. They use to have 10¢ hamburgers. The lines were long. And, people would by 10 or 20 often.
My best BK memory was circa 1979 when they opened up a new store when I was around 6. Burger King was my favorite fast food. My mom surprised me by dropping me off on their opening day. They gave kids a free hamburger or cheeseburger, had activities on their grounds and parking lot, but the best was an appearance by a magician dressed up as the Burger King himself! He would do utterly amazing (to a 6yr old) magic and hand out cool little toys. Companies used to do things like that, allowing people to have fun and whatnot. A grand opening was truly grand back in the day.
Your favourite memory from back then was either smoking weed and listening to sourthern rock or taking meth amphetamines and beating up black and gay people. That’s basically all that happened back then 🤣 But yeah Burger King is cool.
I have no idea why, but I love these commercials and have it on the background as I work from home. I guess its the nostalgia effect. And that I'm in the mood for a Whopper haha.
FRIED BURGER PLEASE……. 1:05. Me and my best friend said that for about 30 minutes in a row, taking turns saying it, and giggling after each time. My Dad had the patience of a saint. After about a half an hour of that, he very gently asked that we please find something else to say. We still talk about that moment, even 38 years later. And she and I still talk everyday.
I really enjoyed these vintage BURGER KING tv commercials it’s like a nostalgic blast from the past for people who remembers watching these commercials on tv📺, they were really great tasty vintage fast food back then.
In the commercial when the man named Herb says he's not the herb they're looking for I remember when a gay girl was calling for me i asked my mom or dad why can't they tell her I'm not the Kristin she's looking for to call
I found there toys for their kids meals were too bad. I liked them, they also had collector "glasses"..and, of course..for the most part they are known for making it "Your Way" 🍔
As much as I love Burgers-and, they remind me of the 80s. I can't eat them/enjoy them like I used to. I don't have a gallbladder anymore..😢 ;( if anybody knows how I can enjoy one again, please let me know 🍔 sigh..
I know, it sounds crazy but I like Burger King as my favorite #1 🍔 choice..(I'm not a fan of Mayo or cheese Burgers) I also like their Classic Chicken sandwich..My 2nd choice is A&W-a Canadian burger chain 🍁 3rd choice is..Wendy's :) Those are my top 3 picks, When it comes to 🍔 Burgers ❤
Wow back then the commercials where just over exaggerating they tried way too hard and where soo concentrated on making a jingle it was just embarrassing
Do you have a favorite Burger King memory? Or were you more of a McDonald's kid? Leave a comment below and let us know!
Everything about Burger King I love ever since the 90s still do it's number 1 for me better than McDonald's and all burgers

Back when burger paddies & buns were much larger in size, they tasted better & prices were decent.
