Dr Allen Onyema is very right and accurate. Nigerians do not have patience and understanding towards Nigerian airlines. Weather is a major cause of delays and cancellations. I use to work for Northwest Airlines in Minnesota
and I know exactly what he is saying. What Nigerians do not do to foreign airlines, they try it with Nigerians airlines. Nigerians need to change their attitudes and mindset. Nigerians complain a lot due lack of knowledge on how airline industry operates. I really appreciate his efforts towards his country Nigeria. God bless him. 🙏🏿

There's no security of anything in Nigeria. Was it not in school that the young Chibok girls were all taken while just being kids in their own country? Was it not in this same Nigeria that a lot of people & their kids have been kidnapped, raped, & even killed in the presence of their husbands etc? Was it not in this same Nigeria were people beaten, shot at, & killed or maimed for life for voting their choices on election day? Democracy is not for Nigeria or Africa, Africa needs structure & discipline to rule them properly etc. Nigeria runs Dangote, Elumelu, & Otedola economy today & these men have monopolized every facet of Nigeria & taken out healthy competition that used to exist in Nigeria especially Dangote- The man who built a refinery with Nigeria's money but is unable to refine any oil from Nigeria- Another Dangote scam. Democracy gave them to us! For there to be healthy competition, there must be adequate security, infrastructures, & the rule of law & record keeping through technology not these paper record keeping that still exists in Nigeria where they manipulate anything to favor the highest bidder. Not only is Nigeria listed as a terrorist nation-home to Boko Haram in various websites in the Western World, but it will also continue to be a young country made for old men; the young continue to run away b/c old men in power thinks they are running a Monarchy among themselves & their family instead of democracy- a govt that works for the people! The name Nigeria is synonymous with corruption, lies, & chaos.

The british are an amazing bunch. they love our natural resources, labour, our money spent on their universities and airlines, however they are ever so ready to treat nigerians and africans with contempt. So far so good for the 'common wealth' . Thank you Mr Onyema for your patriotism.

Gatwick is a convenient underrated location. If Air Peace provide the best customer service training, highest safety standards, optimum aircraft maintenance, affordability and effective communication, we will excel. Most people go with foreign airlines based on a safe and effective track record. It takes time to build trust so let’s start with good intentions and transparency and we will be successful.

On one hand, I was thinking this kind of man should be made Aviation minister. On the other hand I'm thinking if he gets there, either the corrupt cabals frustrate his effort or he gets corrupted himself.
The truth is the President needs to show the way/path he wants his administration to follow and also be ready to give full backing to his ministers.
Our problem is leadership problem. Once we get it right from the top, to deal with the followers becomes easy.

Wonderful presentation by the gorgeous Arise TV team and Dr Reuben Abati. Thanks also to Dr Onyeama for making all these aviation issues markedly clear even those who are not in that field can understand. It is really sad and amazing how our Nigerian government officials sell down their own local operators for the benefit of foreign airlines. There are so many ways that our local airline operators can benefit from the bonanza being exclusively enjoyed by the foreign airlines especially in our own territory. Afterall, the maxim "charity begins at home" have never been disproved.

This whole discussion shows that Nigeria needs patriotic leaders with Capacity, integrity, and foresight. Let the best of the best be encouraged to lead Nigeria. Right now, Nigeria has people with no Capacity, patriotism, or integrity leading Nigeria, because the standard of leadership is based on tribalism, nepotism and religion. No progressive country could survive on such backward standards.
