Do those battery backups cause rf noise on your radio? The ones I have sure do!
@JoshK4LI ya know.. I don't know. I've never had my radio on without them to have something to compare to. Might be a good test. If they do, idk what I would do since I need them lol.

I'm sorry, but if that is a mess......I have NO F***ING clue what you'd call my shack. I have so much shit laying around I literally cannot get to the mike of either my IC7300 or IC7400. I can use my 2m radio, but when I do the mike cord pulls crap all over the place aswell. I don't have a closet like you, but I have 7 sets of 5 shelf storage shelves and they are full of crap too....I think trick cyclists call it hoarding, I call them "Just In Case" supplies....just in case I ever need a 40 year old radio or even a 10 year old one, or maybe 6 different sized bolts for a job, or a 3 inch piece of wire...or a single coax connector, etc, etc.
