I believe the blue jar you picked up was an Avon rich moisturizer cream jar from around 1960, (not for sure). Yes, you could tell this one has sat empty for decades. The lone flower arrangement hanging on the wall saddened me for some reason. All in all another great adventure. I always look forward to your trips back in time. Stay safe!
The Wylers look like a bullion container I remember. With small wrapped bullion cubes. Boots have got to be part of the gear for places liked that. It was a trip back in time, thanks.

That little blue jar looks like a Ponds face cream jar like my grandma used to use back when I was a kid in the 70’s❤

when I was a kid in LA , the county had bought all of the houses across the street from us and many were left empty. I would enter them to explore.
