K-State opened Big 12 play with a 9:30 kick at BYU, and then both K-State and BYU played at 11 a.m. the next week. Can K-State prevent CU from being followed by an early game at West Virginia?

When I was a young man in the Navy, I worked an eight hour day (Sometimes 12 hours) and stood a four hour watch. Trust me when I say, it was A LOT easier at 20 then it would be at 66. :)
They will be fine.

It’s not like baseball or basketball. It’s a week between games.
It’s only a big deal if it’s a Thursday or Friday game. These kids will adapt without a problem

The price of surviving conference realignment. Hate the late late games though.

It would be nice to see a limit on the amount of times per season a team could get tagged with the late slot. Coach nailed it, they're students as well. NFL players are not and they rarely kickoff later than 8:30 ET.

The experience K State gained from the BYU game should help them be better prepared for Colorado, the BYU loss may actually be a blessing through out the rest of the season in places like Colorado, W Virginia and Iowa State where the game time environment is challenging. Time will tell.

I saw the lavender uniform question brought up again in coach K’s press conference. It would be nice to see lavender on the field this year. Maybe the dark purple jerseys and lavender pants or flipped lavender jerseys and dark purple pants with silver piping and silver helmets.
