thank you ,i have a problem with this ic tea 1716 in led tv power supply NO POWER, her problem is that it was exposed to high voltage, and I found the main capacitors swollen, I replaced them, but the IC heats up greatly, but it is fine because I removed it and tried it in another card and it worked fine. Where is the problem? Is it in the components surrounding the ic tea 1716? but which pins of ic responsable for overvoltge or which components must be change smd capacitors and resestors or all .

I have a Hisense TV when I power on I see the SB light blink once and there is no display or sound. When power off same thing, SB blinks once. Can it be the back lights?
I fix a ton of stuff but to me backlight issue is trashcan. Its so much work for so little unless your tvs over like a grand. My tvs 300 dollars. You could not pay me 300 to do this 🤣
not necessarily a "repair" question.. but I'm working on a project with a LG LED 55 inch 55UK6090PUA. I got it free because the screen stopped working but not the backlights. I'm using it to make a Movie Poster backlit frame. Question. How would you go about powering just the backlights? I need to be able to dim them as well because it is REALY bright and I no longer have a way of seeing the settings menu obviously. Don't need to waste the power on the rest of the TV components. I'm in Clearwater FL and have the parts I don't need if you could use them. Thanks
Have a Samsung 4k 6900 series that has one problem: A vertical grey bar, about 9 inches wide, at the extreme left side of the screen is present most of the time. Sometimes it flickers and goes off. The connectors to the TFT display and TCON board seem secure so is this a bad TCON board? NOTE: Rather than sending a tech to look at the TV Samsung said to scrap the TV and sent a check for a replacement. Can the TV be repaired? ANY ADVICE? THX Steve Morris

Excellent repair video
Nice info for the LG TV users.👍
You did not give the LED Number like 5730 ?
Would everything still work if I relaxed the entire backlight strip with a replacement one instead of the individual LEDs?
yes
Yes its actually the simplest method and recommended, to avoid a need to replace other LEDs soon.
I have a 43inch LG LCD TV. I have a picture on the TV for a few seconds. But then it fades to black. Do you think it is the T-con board?
Did you check the two capacitors where the power connection for the LED's go into the EAX power board? Sounds like a leaky capacitor.

If you have no display or sound, I would start with the main board.

Nice one mate 👍
Can you use those replacement led's on a Samsung TV backlight strip or are they model specific?
Model number specific.
No need to pronounce the "l" in solder. Sa-der. It's the UK that pronounces the "l". Tell your friends.

Who else is here after watching him commenting in Liza koshy's video.
To be honest here for a longer lasting repair all led lights should have been replaced, as in a few weeks months your face other failures.
I am blank with your video. Too fast
Use the 0.25x playback speed option thanks
