- Thanks to Patricia Oliveira for requesting 4Kids Entertainment. Credit for all logos and captures belong to everyone who made them, no matter if they are the copyright owner, in which they are shown in this video. 4Kids Entertainment is a production company that was established in 1970 initially as "Leisure Concepts, Inc.", specializing in the acquisition, production, and licensing of children's entertainment around the world. The company is most well-known for its range of television licenses, which has included the multi-billion dollar Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! media franchises. Their company were sold to Saban Brands in 2012 and 4K Acquisition Group (a subsidiary of Konami) , due to lack of profitability. 4Kids was then rebranded to 4Licensing Corporation. In September 2016, 4Licensing filed for bankruptcy protection yet again and shut down in February 2017.
As controversial as it may be I would actually like to see them make a come back in someway however unlikely it is now. I can think of several kids anime that have no dub right now that 4kids would be great at and by now I'm sure they've seen all the critiques about how they used to do things.
4Kids’ production unit actually still remains active as Konami Cross Media NY. In 2012, 4Kids Entertainment sold off their production unit (4Kids Productions), Yu-Gi-Oh license, and Toonzaki (now-defunct uncut anime streaming service) to 4K Acquisition Corp, a subsidiary setup by Konami to acquire 4Kids’ assets. After the purchase of 4Kids’ assets, 4K Acquisition Corp. changed its name to 4K Media Inc., and was later renamed to Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. in April 2019.

2:21 this one brings back memories, this one is from the outro of the ninja turtles from '03 and that was the first time I ever saw the 4KIDS logo and the only show I watched from 4KIDS.
It was also way better.

I still wished 4Kids have made the whole complete DVD collection of Winx Club, TMNT 2003, Sonic X, Ultimate Muscle and the rest of the series back then before it was shut down forever because release one or two DVD with a few episodes is not enough and I prefer the whole complete seasons collections.

That 4Kids woosh sound will always be followed by the existential terror of the Viz Video logo of that time in my brain. I had to be extra brave popping in my Pokémon tapes lol.

I been watching since 90s Pokemon and didn't even realize it was 4Kids - i just associate the company with the mid 2000s colorful logo 🤯

The 2nd generation was better for Sonic.
As much as I'm aware they ruined some anime shows like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sonic X, One Piece, etc, you have to admit their logos are iconic and nostalgic.
