Casey Daniels You're right about no one playing blues to get famous, but the genre ain't dead. Obviously, as you've just heard *cough cough Jack White, Seasick Steve, Black Keys etc*
Anyone who plays any music to get famous is a phoney and a poser. Blues isn't a dead genre.. You know what a dead genre is? Anything with no soul or expression is dead to me. Electronic dance music. Music is for expression.. Edm, rap, and most pop are poor excuses for music with no talent or meaning. And unfortunately for whatever fucked up reason, most of current western culture loves these things.
saw him tonight in Boston and even got a chance to talk to him in person. I witnessed pure raw talent and i'll never forget it. I wish more people would recognize this man, he deserves the attention.
He is playing from within himself like most gifted musicians have done and continue to do all I can say is bravo, keep drawing the music out of you. I am very much enjoying it
At 16 He Met BB King and shared the stage with him, He's been a legend in my hometown since. Used to end up on stage at the blues bar in town b4 he was even legal.
Hearing this guy gives me hope for music again because I was beginning to think real musical talent died with all the autotuned crap out these days anyone can be a star. but this is what real musicianship is all about brother. the passion in your voice and the way you play that guitar is like a breath of fresh air to my soul and ears.
you can feel the pure passion in this guy. every bit of him is into this. like my friend mike said: "we haven't seen musicianship and art in music like this since hendrix or stevie ray vaughan"
Maybe it has something to do with that voice and definitely that appearance! If the playing has anything to do with it it's probably his guitar work on songs like Oh Well, but that isn't that which characterised Peter Green's playing..
Someone needs to remake the movie Crossroads, starring James Bell (in Ralph Macchio's role) Reignwolf (in Steve Vai's role as the devil's guitarist) and Buddy Guy (in Joe Seneca's role)
You can't buy it anywhere, I've scoured the internet, Itunes and Amazon stopped selling it, and I get an error on his site. This guy has a deleted wiki, and only really has live recordings. I'd like to see an album but I don't see evidence of that anywhere
it was called seven deadly sins, but you can't buy it anymore. i suppose if you have the patience you could download it song by song off of youtube, there are no torrents for it anywhere.
Its like Buddy Guy married Dream theater who had black keys and whites stripes blood who had a kid who was fucking insanely all things ..legit first time i heard this wtf?
Jack White Fucking Rips Mr. Klump! Not sure what you're smokin... Jack White and Reign Wolf are cut from the same cloth brother, and I'm sure Wolf would agree.
Eargasm.....Why the hell isn't this guy famous all over the world?
Because he plays a dead genre. No one plays the blues to get famous.

So good. So natural. So effortless. Just incredible.
Everything about this guy and his music oozes rock and roll.
