This gimmick is not to my taste, and I have a very trivial taste. Thanks, Ivan, for this interesting and thoughtful review, and congrats for pronouncing "trecento" (three hundred) right on the first two attempts!
@@PerthWAtch [01:36] The first two, i.e., the "trechento", as opposed to your third attempt, "tresento" (ce is pronounced in Italian like the English che).
I think you accidentally put “Miyota 9039” below the actual Landeron movement in this watch when you listed the specs, but what I would actually say is that this watch probably could have gotten away with that new Miyota 9075 traveler GMT movement and either cut the price or spent the savings on a better bracelet and clasp. I’m not really sure why I would want to spend Swiss movement money on the wristwatch equivalent of an acid washed pair of jeans.
Yeah, Miyota is definitely a typo. I’d say keep the price under $1000 and give a Swiss movement. Or under $700 with Japanese. What’s wrong with acid washed jeans? Swiss don’t do that?
Hi, Ivan. It's very interesting, but a bit too dear for me. I'm intrigued with the GMT complication on a Miyota 9039 - is it just a "caller"? A demonstration would have been nice. Wear it in good health. Cheers 🍻!
Really like your color choice. The dial look more lunar than sun like. I think it could be a cool watch and a cool idea. If they killed it in the details big and small and the build quality it would help more than any kitschy marketing.
I bought the red one. I wouldn't say they look damaged. They look "new, shiny, with rusty iron bracelet". As someone born in the town of coal and steel they are perfect for me :) The minute markers looks like something coming from Titanic - as a ship and see lover, again, perfect for me :) Couldn't find better watch!
For that sort of price you can get a Chris Ward with a Swiss movement, that will hold it's price much better. They will struggle big time to shift those
@TheBimmer74 1. That’s nonsense. Please think before you write! 2. If you’re in one of those zones, you need to get out ASAP rather than worry about your GMT bezel. 🤣
Hello and thanks for this video Ivan. I loved their logo and their brand's name right at the first glance. But, after having a look at some of thier watches, I realised that this kind of "fake vintange" was not for me. Nice review anyway. 😊
I am very sorry to say this. "This is an absolute Garbage" that trivialize our watch lovers intellects. Ivan, you said it right about this being "marketing gimmick". I haven't seen this type of blatant & transparent marketing gimmick in a decade. $1550 for this watch???? With that pathetic bracelet / push-pin / & $1.00 clasp? I am not even going to write long today. Ivan, interesting yet utterly disappointing watch review.... Have a wonderful day, Ivan
Haha no need to be sorry - it’s deserved! Although I think the ERA Odyssey I reviewed a few years back had even worse gimmicky marketing. And cmon, that bracelet is worth at least $5 mate!! 😂
Yes expensive and not a fan of that finishing. Always appreciate people trying something new and different but I love stainless steel and nice finishing. Dont like bronze watches or faux patinas etc. My current favorite that I'm looking at is the Wise Adamascus AD790 in Damascus steel. So classy and looks amazing.. I think great value! Thanks Ivan have a lovely evening 🙏🙏
only one guy in the qc department ,yep good ,what ever ,just send it.thats basicly what you are getting........you are buying a pre damaged watch.whats wrong with these people.
They are a very interesting brand. I also heard you had another new watch join your collection. Enjoy exploring that one.
The world is a small small place :)
I bought the same watch last week but sadly my dial is rotated about 3-5 degrees to the right.
Sounds like yours has more authentic damage than mine!

Yeah sorry guys, the Miyota is a typo. This is a Swiss movement

Yep, I agree!
The bezel should be 48 clicks on a GMT.
True, but this is a damaged GMT.
48 makes no sense whatsoever. Do some research.
And yes, this is a damaged GMT 😂
@PerthWAtch it is because some parts of the world are in between time zones so the adjustment would be X.5 hours
@@TheBimmer74 An undamaged GMT should have 24 hour indicators, yet 48 clicks bezel [edited].

Thanks mate. “Faux patina”… apparently it’s a thing
Quite a lot of money for what you get, big benefit is its unlikely to get stolen.
Hahaha good point - that should be in the marketing! 😂
I dont believe the marketing person will have a long career.......
I think he’s also the owner hahaha!
Out of Order is a weird brand, but if you want something quirky on your wrist this would fit the bill.
Yeah I agree… that price though

Not for me this, doesn’t offer enough for the asking price, though the non Mercedes hands are welcome.
