Nice Work! I highly recomend using the Vallejo paints for hand painting. Thin with water and they are in a dropper bottle so they are super convinient. Also look into a STA-WET pallet. It is a wet pallet you can get for pretty cheap that will keep your paints wet while you work and they will stay wet overnight in the pallet.
Interesting note on the pallette, I've always done diy but curious to see what they've created. I agree Vallejo is good, I like AK too
@@ScaleModelAssassin I find it more convinient than DIY because it is so shallow. Use with parchment paper, not wax paper. Wax paper is impermeable to water, parchment paper is.
Superb, congratulations.
Thank you! Cheers!
Really fab, cheers
Thanks!
Would be good if you could put the products you use in captions instead of just saying the name of the product. I'm looking for a good matt varnish and couldn't catch the name of what you use.
Its Winsor and Newton Galeria Matt varnish. I try to get the products captioned in the video, but dont always get them all.
Beautiful paint job.....certainly pays respect to the nice resin details!
Thank you very much!
It’s stunning! I’d say you nailed it. Cockpits are one of my favorite parts of the build. Even with the canopy open I’m always a little bummed when the fuselage halves go together and some of the details are hidden. For the detail painting did the set have color call outs? Maybe you used reference photos?
Thanks! The Aires instructions didn't have colors callouts so I generally followed the colors on the Tamiya kit instructions. I couldn't find much with regards to color reference photos online, only a few artistic renderings which may/may not be accurate.
I am getting a lot out of watching your videos, so thank you very much and great work.
Glad you like them and thank you very much!
