I hate that 8 year olds want to act as grown ups. Now they are obsessed with skin care. They should know that you are a child only once. Puberty ain't pretty either for most people. I kinda remember this episode, the girl was just pretending to be mean to Lisa, because of the other girls disapproval and she just wanted to fit in.
That's society for you. Clothes shops now sell clothing in sizes it's dangerous for anyone to be. I'm so short that at 5ft I'm classed as petite (under 5ft is petite). But if I were a UK size 4I would be very under weight. My step sister is almost 6ft and she thought being a UK size 12 made her fat!. I had to explain to her that the weight that made her that size was a healthy and perfect weight for her height. That she was better not making her self go down to a size 8. I used to be a size 6, not through choice but I was borderline underweight. I was ashamed of it even though it wasn't intentional and unexplained to get how unhappy being 'thin' and 'skinny' made me. Thankfully she stopped limiting her food and skipping meals. The first time I went to donate blood I didn't know there was a minimum weight. I was so excited to donate. One of the staff at the donation place skinny shamed me. She may as well have spat in my face. I was too angry and shocked to say anything. I left right away. I still regret not reporting her years later. But I managed to become a safe and healthy weight and I'm better off. I've now given blood 5 times even with my vitamin B12 deficiency. Sure I spend the week following a donation feeling like I've been hit by a bus but it's worth it to help someone and possibly even save a life. And it's cool to learn where my blood ends up. Don't be afraid to be yourself. And to any kids reading. Don't grow up before you're an adult, it's ok to be mature but still be a kid. Trust me, you'll be glad you did when you are older.

Exactly. That’s why it sickens and saddens me when i see very young girls dress in clothes that are not appropriate for their age and wearing makeup. Girls today want to grow up way too fast that they are not realizing that they are wasting their childhood. That’s why i’m glad that I am a 90’s kid, I grew up in a time when kids were being actual children playing with toys, hanging out with friends at parks or school playgrounds, playing with toys, watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, etc.

I was best friends with one of my neighbors and their cousins came over. Simply put, that friend became a bitch trying to impress them or seem cool by making fun of me. I told her mom and it happened multiple times. Eventually I was fed up with it left.

I kept snitching on him to his mom or my mom at any chance I could and I thought was the right thing to do. I kept getting him grounded to defend myself and still I suffered for it. Then my parents got me out of the toxicity and ceased contact until after 4th grade. 6 years later, our paths crossed once again and I didn't remember anything and started off friends with him and his bros who were bystanders sadly. My mom in addition to my sister and best friend of a cousin were very apprehensive to everything and warned me he was a wolf in sheep's clothing (they were right). I didn't remember anything until she told me when I thought it was his younger bro or a lie, when she told me otherwise. The friendship got more toxic progressively and it was so mind boggling as to how he was two faced (nice to me when my sis wasn't around but an ass when she was present) and I was too scared to tell anyone else and it felt like deja vu. As time passed on, his mom got fed up of my incessant snitching. She used the uno reverse card to me by getting my mom to make me stop getting spiteful with my incessant demanding and treating her like a pawn. I just want karma for his actions even though I got mine as well and became a product of that environment. I find it incredibly unfair and I got no closure out of it.
