I like a lot of the songs but Remi the Ratatouille bugs me a lot because... what?? Remi's a rat. Ratatouille's the dish. Idk why that just doesn't sit right with me.

Even if they're referring to the movie title itself, it feels odd to refer to the source material unless you're a comedy like Beetle Juice, but even that was a one liner rather than a main song.

Honestly, the Remy song feels like an act 1 finale. My idea for the Act 2 Finale would be a version of Le Festin. The final scenes have LinguIni opening the new reasturant and Colette is his girlfriend/assistant chef. The critic says “surprise me” before the final lines of the song. The show finally ends with Remy, his dad and Emile on the rooftop while looking at the sun rising over Paris.

Unpopular opinion: the main song doesn’t fit in well
I mean if it’s going to be the main theme shouldn’t it sound at least a little French and not like pop, like, I’m fine with every other song, I love Colette’s song and that song for when skinner finds that remy has been the chef, but the main theme just doesn’t fit in well with the other songs and the main feel of the movie, everything else is perfect though

The song at 11:38 is by FAR my favorite song out of the musical- like it’s so freaking good I love it it’s like dark and I would vote for it to be like ego’s introduction song.
I like the idea of a lot of ballet, tango, and a few modern twists for choreograph and songs. I think that it gives it that European vibe. As for costumes I think that having a rat silhouette is a good idea, like rat ears on the hats and a rat tail with human clothes, that way you can still have a good connection with the characters but you can distinguish characters better. I like a lot of the ideas people have brought up and I think it would be cool if this actually happened. Maybe have a panel of people as directors that started the trend/contributed the most and any major factors like costume, choreography, or songs could be voted on.
