Well done...A+...just a heads up, you can take hi temp silicone from a auto parts store for exhaust headers and put a bead around the edge of the hole in the stove jack so the jack wont unravel anymore and wear out...Cheers!!!

From the first time I saw this semi-Baker style tent I was thinking this would great for ice fishing for 1 or 2 people. I like the pop-up style ice fishing shacks for their quick set up BUT they are heavy and bulky. A number of people have converted them with stove jacks (a whole lot better than using damp propane heaters) and use them as hot tents.
With a Baker style tent, you can fish inside because there is no floor or you can fish under the canopy (pitched a bit higher) with the tent being used as a windbreak. A stove can be placed inside the tent as you have shown or a stove can be placed outside just beyond the canopy to radiate towards you. Obviously this type of tent takes a little longer to set up and screw anchors into the ice are needed but it is something I've been contemplating since last year. This video is just additional confirmation of my idea.

For those that have segmented stove pipes, you could use an adjustable elbow and run your pipe on an angle out the wall beside the panel with the mesh window on either end. It will give you a little more room in the main area of the tent. For seam sealing silnylon, the Permatex Flowable silicone windshield sealant works well. Available any most auto parts stores.

And a big concern is the steel O ring type stove jacks are about 5 times the price of these fiberglass ones. :O

This is such a "cool" shelter. I've always felt like a traditional hot tent would be a little boring without the view so this would solve that problem. I didn't realize OneTigris made all that stuff but I picked up one of their square tarps for $40 years ago and it is just bomb-proof. 100ish nights of use and the taped seams are still watertight.

Love your channel and I watch a lot of your videos. I was inspired to make a hot tent conversion. You mentioned the girlfriend sewed the stove jack. I don't own a sewing machine but thought that a hand held sewing awl would possibly work. The Speedy Stitcher to be exact. I thought this little item would be good to add to my kit. It comes with waxed thread but it is for canvas, Leather, or shoes as an example. But since you were sewing through the tent fabric, silicon, the fiberglass stove jack, and the velcro. I thought maybe this 30 dollar hand sewer would fit the bill. I wanted to know your thoughts. Thank you for your time Jeremy. Love the hot tent stuff. Onewind is coming out with a hot hammock tent this Fall, 2022. Just wanted to let you know.

I watched another vid of yours recently where you burned in a T-Brick Mini, and you explained that the glass allows more heat to escape than the metal, so I wonder if the canvas would get too warm beside it.
