The CTI OSC5A2B02 is advertised as a square wave oscillator. Yet the 10MHz wave displayed on your oscilloscope appears sinusoidal. I bought the same OCXO and the wave as it appears on my scope is also sinusoidal, just like your's. Do you know why this is? I was expecting a nice square wave.
Can you pleaz help me to set on 40mhz i have same ocxo and i am confused in jumpers. I have to set on 40mhz . Can you shear the video on 40 mhz setting
Hi. Your settings should be: S1=0, S0=0. I hope that helps! :) Mine came with manual. I can rewrite it all here: HIC OSC101 Frequency Reference Crystal module outputs the frequency accuracy of the 10 MHz signal (+/- 200 ppb). It has two signal outputs, one is a standard 10 MHz signal, the other is a 10 MHz multiplier signal. The multiplier signal has 9 types of frequency multiplication, which are 2x, 3x, 3.123x, 4x, 5x, 5.3125x, 6x, 6.25x, 8x. The different multipliers are selected by the JP1 jumper pin. Correct deviation of the 10 MHz output frequency (+/- 2.0 ppm) with the RV1 potentiometer. Terminal Definition Parameters: [P1]: Power input interface (7~9 V). [P2]: 10 MHz signal output interface; (10 MHz amplitude: 3 Vpp) SMA interface. [P3]: N frequency output interface of 10 MHz signal; (N * 10 Mhz amplitude 5 Vpp) SMA interface. [RV1]: Correct the deviation of the 10 MHz output frequency (+/- 2.ppm) [JP1] Jumper Needle Selection: S1=0, S0=0, OUT = 4x S1=0, S0=M, OUT = 5.3125x S1=0, S0=1, OUT = 5x S1=M, S0=0, OUT = 6.25x S1=M, S0=M, OUT = 2x S1=M, S0=1, OUT = 3.125x S1=1, S0=M, OUT = 3x S1=1, S0=1, OUT = 8x 0 = connected directly to ground (L) 1 = connected directly to VDD (H) M = leave unconnected (floating)

that board has a low pass filter that turns it in to a sinusoidal
