Best about Valeera is that everybody hate playing against her, and every Valeera player that I know is constatly whinning that he can't do shit in teamfights. Fun for everyone!

I've destroyed valeera's constantly when fighting them.
So....is their problem the fact that they didnt adapt to the new stealth, because so long as you are only poking into the edge of their sight you can usually get by well enough-and with her jump you can easily set up your team (stun on squish, silence on tanks usually) or mop up any enemies that are retreating from battle (even though I focus garrote most game I will usually take the assassinate alone targets talent because burst damage is legit) or just disrupt a major player for a split second like the healer or tank with fear tactics to make them swap between front and back lines
Another really fun thing to do is get cloak of shadows and feign how squishy you are to bring out their big guns such as pyroblast or major stuns and just negate them all
Your team has to engage first and distract them. After that Val can start cleaning the trash away.
If you know what you're doing Valeera is just sort of something that prevents you from doing risky things when playing against her, and a flanker in teamfights when playing as her. Happens to most melee assassins that they can't dive in in team fights, so instead you threaten their flanks and make them make mistakes. Edit: Or you can initiate a teamfight on your terms by punishing someone who overextended.

She kept spamming because the Deckard straight up began afk laning top. One of the worst things about lower skill HOTS players, especially in QM, is the obsession with mindlessly laning like if they are playing League of Legends. HOTS being more dynamic requires people to sometimes do other things so I'd be annoyed with him as well. Can't really blame Orphea either when Deckard ignored everyone's pings for a good 30 seconds and let the enemy team take mid.
Report, then unblock and block again. I cannot stand spamming like this.

Yeah, just a shame he never is willing to give Probius the same effort. But I guess he's just resigned to the fact that he and the little probe just don't mesh. He seems to be fine with Probius when _other_ people are playing him though (friendly or enemy), if previous matches are any indicator.

That's why they play ranged to begin with. Too scared to play any dive heroes so they don't have the mentality therefore Pally was screwed in many of engages because he had little follow up..
Take the energy talent at one, and the heal reduction at 4, much better kill potential, especially against Morales.
Should have gone for a full garrote build my friend. You really missed out.
I mean, 5-manning it is the best way to counter a Valeera. They did the right thing against the comp they faced, and your team was a tire fire of incompetent dithering.
Blizzard should be ashamed of itself for polluting your games with players that bad.
Practically every night I play hots and practically every other match I'm on warhead junction. The first thing I do when the game starts is type in the chat, "Remember the golden rule of nukes. Never nuke mid." Nobody ever listens and whenever anybody ever does respond they either question why and ignore my explanation or insist that they're going to nuke mid anyway.
I haven't played this game in forever why don't you ever nuke mid is it because it's better used split pushing side lanes

My brother and I were playing and we lost like 4 games in a row so we were kinda pissed. No one was talking in our game then all of a sudden our Garrosh says “biss?” We both burst out laughing

Good ole 2.5 second silence! in recent times I've played she's either been the worst nightmare or the most hilarious joke. Oddly pretty evenly split between friendly and enemy ones. Tim better fix that bug,though. It's super important.

Everytime 3 full combo points dropped off I couldn't help but twitch...
You sit on 3 combo points and sinister strike or blade flurry instead of eviscerating quite often, basically losing damage and wasting combo points.

Ok, after you've been complaining about the 2,5s silence on about every game I was full on expecting you to completely mess up in this video and then complaining that she sucks. But you actually played her really well, you often jumped into stealth mid-combat which is what I don't do enough and which is the way to play Valeera. Well done Pally for proving me wrong!

Yeah, Cain was derping in the top lane ages after the camp got cleared, but Orphea was something else, pinging like a mother trucker. She's got Cain to set up her big AoE heroic, so of course she doesn't wait and randomly presses R. Then she grabs a nuke bot and instead of using, she hearths walks top to the teamfight with the nuke, sitting there forever instead of using the nuke on any lane. If you see the whole enemy team is trying to push your fort, sneak over to their keep and nuke that.
Also, yeah, starting nuking with bot or top is best. However, if you've got bot or top pushed and there's no boss or you can't end, you could nuke mid. If you push mid after top or bot you're gonna have catapults from those lanes form kinda a deathball at the core.
I can relate to the no one went in when a perfect pick was in place.
46-26 now following your builds. Not typically how I like to play Valeera and I do like playing her. This served as my weekly reminder of how bad this game is to play on the weekend. Monstrosity Abathur and twin blades tanks everywhere along with constant death balls. I love her gameplay style but I had to out XP specialists with her weak wave clear twice before I found a game that at least lasted to 20. At least I can wait until monday for the next one. Boo weekend HotS it's so frustrating and not fun to play
Monstrosity Abathur is fine, especially with the recent changes. Unless of course you're playing on a smaller map (like Tomb or any 2-lane map) or Towers of Doom, then it's not nearly as effective unless the enemy team leaves it alone too much. Personally I have a problem with UE in that it's too contingent on you being good at every hero in the game. There's a handful of now commonly seen heroes I haven't gotten the chance to play yet, so I can't copy them or it's just a waste.

You're supposed to go for Q talents with slow at 1. Usually can body most squishies by 7.
My least favorite hero in the game is, has been, and probably always will be Nazeebo. Yes, he's even more annoying than Valeera. At least Valeera actually has to be alive to kill you from 50% HP. :P
I probably play Valeera a bit differently than most people, though. If you find yourself doing A-Z Valeera again next year, and she hasn't been reworked, you could try my double eviscerate build... where you take Vigor (the globe quest), Relentless strikes, Fatal Finesse, and Seal Fate. The energy savings allow you to E>Q>E>W>Q>E someone from stealth without running out of energy. Pretty fun and actually takes some skill to pull off when you need to execute the combo fast and you're not always sure where the blink will put you.
yeah you def have to build her to be energy efficient. take the globe talent at level 1, and take the talent to make your q give 2 points and reduce the energy cost. once you get her down, you won't run out of energy and you're sticky as fuck. also with smoke bomb she's alright in team fights, but I usually take the unstoppable ult. 20 sec cd, easy escape, can ignore stuns and roots. the more you play her, the more you'll find out what targets to stun and what target to silence. I rarely use the q in stealth unless my whole team is jumping on 1 target, then the q is good. 72% win rate with her, so I'm doing something right.
2 and a half seconds of silence for our fallen contend creator.

I've been away for 3 years and now I found that valeera has 2.5 sec of silence well time to stalk cromie and let her suffer
I gotta disagree with the build tho. Q build with crippling poison is the best and most independent from invisiblity. CoS is my preferrable ult just cause it has lesser cooldown and self cleanse is really good.
I really think you should enter stealth way sooner, like at 5:10 you could've stealthed way before you arrived and been ready to engage. But you stealthed when you entered the bush and had the 3 second delay. I think unless the enemy team has a load of abathur mines or vision-granting tools, moving around in stealth is the best way to go.

I think you would have had a better time with a more cohesive talent path. The 40 energy talent at level 1 on every opener is huge, I like it much better than crippling poison. I really prefer cloak over smoke bomb as well. The ambush damage talent on out of position players is huge. Punishing players who are positioned wrong is valeeras strength, might as well capitalize on it.

That's actually a common misconception. Her full name is "Very hard to play the game, when you're constantly hit with a two-and-a-half second silence."

I dunno.. Smash Varian doesn't do it for me, I have no luck with him.. now when I go twinblades varian, i heal through literally everything...
High king at 1, twinblades, then the talent that lets you heal for 1% of your HP plus 50% damage if low health, I grab the thing that lets me use the E like every 4 seconds, then the talent that lets it do % based health damage, then more slashy-slash at 20
So every qm Varien ever, just twinblades all day everyday
if you used your blody e you could have killed alot of them in the early game... pls use it

Least favorite to play, probably, but not least favorite overall. I assume because he doesn't hate playing _against_ Probius or with someone else playing a Probius (he's made some surprisingly positive comments about the little probe in some of his videos when _other_ people were playing him). He just hates playing AS him. Whereas Valeera can feel really frustrating to both play (because of how hard it is to teamfight with her) and fight against (because of how easy it is for her to global you if she catches you by yourself).
SO you're saying you prefer probius to valeera?
I've seen diferent streamers that use probius a lot and they do great things with him
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought of this. xD I guess he likes Probius better only in the sense that he's more fun to play against, even if Pally can't even begin to fathom how to play him properly.
The Little Probe That Could is one of my favorite heroes, though I'm not as good at him as I would like to be. I used to be amazing, then I stopped playing for a while due to PC issues, and now I've gotten so rusty... haven't buckled down and gone through some intensive training to get better again yet.

You should have picked either Vigor or Subtley at Level 1, then you would have the energy to actually get kills.
Why get crippling poison when you've got a dash and a 20% speed buff every 8 seconds?
Sergeant Doomkin You don’t need to take them to have Energy. You just take Crippling Poison at 1, Relentless Strikes at 4, Mutilate at 7, whatever at 10, Strangle at 13, Seal Fate at 16 then Elusiveness at 20.
Pre-Seal Fate you Stealth, apply Crippling, Garrote, auto, Q, auto, Q, E.
Post-Seal Fate you Stealth, apply Crippling, Garrote, auto, Q, auto, E and then just weave Qs in to get Combo Points to finish them off if they survived or go Stealth again and repeat. The W does shit damage for a lot of Energy. Only good if you wanna apply Crippling to a lot of people that are close together.
Vigor can be good if you wanna set up one-shot builds but they require people to be alone usually with Assassinate and they don’t lock Tracer’s and stuff down which imo is a super valuable part of Valeera.
Just... just tell them why its not good to nuke mid.
just an fyi but you kept running out of energy because your build was pretty terrible, especially in relation to the comp you were facing.
typically people do relentless strikes at 4, mutilate at 7 and seal fate at 16 (at least in higher mmr play) because it gives Valeera a large chunk of burst damage (which is something she REALLY needs against people like tracer who can run away quickly). Without access to that extra burst damage, it can take a lot longer to really kill someone like tracer or morales. That length of time allowed you to run out of energy and/or fail to secure kills a lot of the time. Granted you admitted up front to Valeera being your least favorite hero so it's not really a huge knock against you. However imo that is why you kept running out of energy and had a hard time securing kills.
She also has a VERY forgiving hp pool and a solid low cd dash. Basically needs a hard focus of 3+ people with some hard cc when she literally towerdives at lvl 1.
Very easy and boring character to play as and against.
I know you don’t like Valeera, pally. And I’m pretty sure you won’t play her again unless you have to... but as of right now her w skill is a trap. It’s just not worth the energy. It’s q all the way.

Am I the only one that doesn't see Valeera's silence as that big of a deal? Okay, sure. Its 2.5 seconds long. It does not prevent movement. Even if the Valeera player takes Crippling Poison at level 1, its nowhere near enough to keep her target close for her to get her damage off before that target just casually walks out of range of all of her abilities. Its kind of like, "Oh, you silenced and slowed me? Okay, I'm just gonna casually walk away. Good luck with catching up to me." The range on Sinister Strike is so tiny, it might as well not offer any repositioning value at all.
Haha, nice. I noticed that too. Anything less than a 25% slow, is equal to getting hit by 1 melee AA and then walking away

For the Record, Valeera needs a rework. Bad. She was meant for burst, but she's been nuked so hard with nerfs, there's nothing but the 2.5 second silence.
I disagree, she is just harder to master but still very deadly and effective if played proper and with decent teammates ofc.

Also, I think currently it's not as bad to nuke mid anymore since catas will spawn every 3rd wave after the first set of buildings
No dude, nuking mid is a waste, the catas at the early game are pretty weak, and since is just 1 ocassional catapult anyone can kill it. You dont get much value from them other than forcing 1 member on the enemy team to go def for at most 10 sec the middle lane, the easiest one to def and the one thats closer to any other lane. Its always better to nuke top or bot and take merc camps or the boss to force the enemy team to def a real threat.
There's actually only 1 justified circumstance to nuke mid, when you are about to die, so the enemy team cant put their filthy hands on the nuke lol
@@ocean037 nah, there was a super rare exception to the rule a while back in one of pally's games. the team had the option of nuking mid keep, or top/bot fort (can't remember which, but they were basically at full) and the keep was pretty close to dead. destroying mid keep is better than superficial damage to a fort, so nuking mid actually made sense (though pally was still upset about it, i don't think he really considered the whole picture).
of course, that's pretty rare. and probably started off because people were focusing mid too much in the first place. but by the time that happens, you may as well nuke mid.
it's still not advised because Top and Bot are boss lanes. getting rid of forts there first gives your team a higher chance of successfully taking boss which can give you a HUGE advantage.
@@Shoddragon it was destroying a keep vs damaging a fort. mid lane may not be the best lane for that, but the advantage gained by taking mid can also give you a huge advantage. it is like having a 6th player split pushing constantly, and if the other team doesn't time things very carefully they're going to have a very limited amount of time to contest boss before their core starts taking damage.
oh dude I was just replying to Legend's comment about it "not being as back to nuke mid anymore". specific situations can lead to differing circumstances for sure.

While it is true that the people you are playing with are shite at the game, To counter act that, play with viewers, even if they aren't good, they are humble and understand when you talk to them, you don't even need to type you can just say it on stream they can all hear you.
You seem to have more fun when playing with people who are able to and willing to change their play styles to accommodate yours, it doesn't even need to be a full 5 man, just 1 person at least in tank, support and damage at any one time, so you can have at least someone who knows generally what they are doing and are willing to listen. I just want to see you having fun and that is the easiest solution for that.

He's complaining because _no one else_ went to the solo lane. Pally be all about that EXP soak. So since his team wouldn't do it and decided to Team Death Match in mid, it fell on him to do it himself.

CoS is a lot better if you are good using it. Such a short CD that gives a shitload of spell armor and makes you immune to CC for a moment. So much outplay potential where smoke bomb is so obvious and you can just get nuked by AoE
