@@loric63s_amg62 I would say it depends on the car and it's condition. For exemple if you only have a clutch or a gearbox to replace, the parts can be very cheap. By the way, you still need time, tools, skills and space of course... If the car has had a crash, then it is much worse : you never know what to expect and need to see a specialist to repair the damaged frame.

I learned things that people say to hurt you, you should just ignore because it doesn't effect you in the least way. I'm 17 and now I learned that I can be myself because there is someone in the world who likes me how I am, I thought I might share this incase someone needs it. Restoration videos aren't only about fixing something.. There's a message saying it's not too late to change,good things will happen.. I think he lived with his parents and so he didnt have many bills so he could focus on building a channel and his hobbies like this. Also, his parents also seem to have money so I bet that helped a little bit too. Not taking anything away from Nour as this whole build required way more than just money. Its a lot of energy, devotion and research as well

My guess is that the wrap didn't look as good as they hoped so they painted it instead. It looked good on the video but in reality it could have been a different story. Or they painted it that shade of blue because it raises the value of the car. The new paint resembles Laguna Seca Blue or maybe that's exactly what it is, which is a rare color for that series m3 and and highly desirable. The 'nardo grey' looking one looked nice, but had more of a sleeper look. The laguna seca blue is a real head turner.

Also lost time from work, only pays to do this as hobby in free time or as content creator, it doesn't pay off to do restore cars to make big bucks, you would need to do it off work only (but then you lose time from other things). Otherwise it's not so much profitable, if you sacrifice good paying job or free time from family and the longer you take time to finish the project the more car value depreciate. If one is thinking of making profit of this, then time is better spend investing the same time into courses, qualifications, creating portfolio for better paying work. As content creator they get bigger playing field, money from content, they are creating their own brand and cause of that exposure they are getting good offer. I am saying this as someone who thought to get into stuff like this as hobby, you need garage space, tools, help in some situations and do it in free time (but I choose other hobbies, like sports and gym and being with my family in my free time).

Saving up money to get it professionally painted, it’s not cheap. It’s pretty cheap to wrap yourself, it was on for a couple months before paint.
