I've been into high end audio fir decades and this is the coolest audio rack I've ever seen. Clean, simple, heavy, configurable, and flawlessly functional. 👍👍👍
Very nice. This is something that I know will undoubtedly help with vibration because of its great design. Again this is clearly a heirloom piece that will outlast us all. Great job
According to the website the smallest shelf width is 3 feet? That's a bit wide, my widest amplifier is 19 inches wide. Hopefully a 24" wide shelf is planned for this product?
Also love this product. Great industrial design and pragmatic utility. The best wood working tools are cast iron too imho - strong and heavy as hell and resist vibration. How much would such a rack cost?
Really industrial, replace the wood with a slab of steel and you have a welding table! I love this sort of design as it is so purposeful. Do you do them with slate tops as well and if so is there a difference in sound to wood?
Thank you, Ian! Slate, marble or glass, any material you'd like. Slate is a great choice because of its great damping properties. On the Fleetwood Sound website you'll see photos of the rack with slate shelves.
@@oswaldsmillaudio thanks so much, another excuse to revel in that wonderful photography there :) I did wonder about the slate being a good option for damping. I’m British but now live in Austria. Growing up I remember how the sound of rain on slate roofs sounded quieter than artificial material roofs so have experienced its damping properties ( albeit in a rather crude fashion!) they use a lot of tile here and it’s much louder! Something so wonderful about slate . I used to love to explore disused slate quarries as a child!
Awesome Video. Thanks for it. One good looking rack. I see the Excelsior in the back right. Any idea when we can see a video on that? Please and Thank You.
It looks great! Do you offer the customization on the rack size? Because as it is I don't think it will fit a very long (depth wise) equipment. Many power amps extends 2 feet in depth.
Now I love OMA and I like Jonathan but really John., proprietary coating on your cast Iorn. Really...... Please Lord god don't tell me that OMA are going down the audiophile nonsense hole. Sell sell sell, its unreal. Seems like only true diy and a very select few individuals can make real hi-fi. Hope John can reign it in.

Racks are an overlooked part of any good system.

This is the most amazing shelving I have seen. Impressive ! Absolutely remarkable !
Wow!!! That audio rack looks very solid!

I also have 6 components needing 6 shelves: 1) power conditioner, 2) surrounded amplifier, 3) stereo amplifier, 4) preamp processor, 5) 4K blu-ray player, 6) subwoofer controller.

The Excelsior will be launched (as a product) very soon. And after that the video ;)

Any update on when you will be releasing the video of the K3 turntable?
Cast iron made in Richmond? Fern & Roby/Tektonics?
No link? Or did I miss it somewhere.
I put bags of sand in my credenza and sit all of my hifi components on Lifesaver Gummies...
🙄😎💪stark...
It would be a nice rack if it was affordable for most folks. I bet it's north of 25,000 to much
