To me, this video looks like it represents what's going on inside of him. The trees are covered in red and there are what could be red blood cells floating in the air. The girls are ready to do battle when he approaches and I feel like he's battling the feelings of a one sided toxic relationship. In the end, the feelings are too strong and he gets hurt again and again and the ribbons are the reminders of the scars he's received but he keeps going back to do battle with these feelings that are inside him hurting him again and again.
