Firebat trust me RUN NOZDORMU! (4 mana 8/8) This card synergizes flawlessly with this deck.
Yeah Noz is a no brainer. Tbh Vargoth is actually not even that great since Paladin can’t mega highroll like warrior can with the 10 mana card. Plus running out of threats is an actual thing since all your cheat cards are deck thinners, Duel pulling vargoth can sometimes backfire terribly, etc
I've been playing this deck with Noz since scholomance came out and I wouldn't recommend it because it looses more games than it'll win you, and it messes up call to adventure a lot
100% agree! After seeing Dekkster play Duel Paladin, it is the obvious choice. Replacing Desperate Measures with Redemption also seems like a good idea. Random Paladin secrets are okay for surviving early game, but a Redemption seals the deal once paired with a good Deathrattle minion or Colossus of the Moon.
I'm sure in part 2 Firebat will have Nozdormu and maybe even Redemption.
@@themoksteam I dont see how playing a 10/10 on 4 messes you up; you're gameplan is drawn out fpr you just play your expenisve minions until you win.
@@zoningout9072 The goal af the deck is to cheat out high cost minions, if you both have 10 mana it opens up too much for the opponent, you thrive when you get something big down turn 5 or 6, after that they usually deal with it pretty well
He is undervaluing healing far too much. It's a must-have for this deck. Relying on taunts has become far too weak since the introduction of Demon Hunter and Soul DH is one of the top decks right now. A single big heal can completely turn the match in your favor against the many burn based decks of the meta.
I love the idea of this series man keep it up!
This was, by far, the most "never lucky" stream I've ever watched. Every opponent had perfect answers every time.
As a casual Hearthstone viewer (haven't played the game in a few years), it would be nice to have an introduction to the deck you're doctoring and what the deck's goal is like you used to do for the old omnistone deck doctors.
Honestly some of my favourite hearthstone content. Keep it up man!

Ooh I was just playing this deck. The 6 Mana 4-9 lifesteal is so fun
Seems completely fine especially with call to adventure already in the deck for a 6/11 sometimes, can't be easy to ignore but hard sometimes other classes have a better end game ever with a bunch of 10 drops. Cool off meta deck with maybe a bit less power than it would need for the current state of HS
Think we need the mortician for this deck. Did some cool things but even the highrolls couldn’t beat the meta decks

If the meta is aggro enough, I can see running Nozdormu.
It's a semi-decent Duel target, can be fetched with Call if you need the ramp, and the rest of your deck is big hitters you oughta play one per turn.

For the love of God I know I'm only halfway in the video, but 4 mana 8/8 its the late game is a pretty good card in this deck and the fact that he looks over it for so long depresses me

Something I never understood why would you just hold first day of school when you have already used all of your spellburst and your deck doesnt draw enough to overdraw ever
Bluffing that those two cards in your hand might be more impactful than four random 1-drops comes to mind, but I admit that in the current state of the game where nobody ever plays around anything since it's all RNG anyway that's essentially nothing. Probably better to just get the information now and plan ahead.

I climbed from gold 5 to diamond 7 with a ~55%WR with a set very close to the blizzard recommended honor roll deck. For anyone interested, shovelfist is nice because it can attack when pulled off of duel and commencement. The 4/9 lifesteal really helps survivability, protodrake is just too slow. Batterhead indeed sucks, as does big bad, ysera, etc. Havent tested noz because I don't have it. The key is finding first day of school and healing for a million late game with lightforged blessing. If anyone wants some tips on playing with the deck, let me know.

Demon hunter goes against what activision blizzard said about class identity... it shouldn't have soul fragments for 1... cuz their reason for allowing DH to be so aggressive and strong was they ran out of health! Whats DH weakness and what's its class identity??cuz other classes were forced into narrow roles but DH is exempt? Oh wait.. DH class identity is pack seller...thats right...

Did they actually say that? Demon Hunter had powerful lifesteal effects from the very beginning, one of the main things that distinguishes them from rogue is that they actually can heal back up after attacking minions. I'd totally believe they would just straight up spout some complete gibberish about the class identity but from looking at the cards since the class was introduced they really don't have an identity other than "sells packs" like you said, sure they can't do literally everything but they can do most things and do them very well.
Im only here to support Ed and his telling me to not leave a comment about a certain face in front of some important things in a card game.
