Carving Canyons is full of gems. I thought My wild west album was unbeatable but the 4 songs available of CC are out of this world.

Carving Canyons is totally brilliant! Much has rightfully been said about Lissie's voice, but I think also Curt Scneider, the producer of this album, deserves credit for an excellent job done 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I've been listening to Lissie since her debut, 'Catching a Tiger', but this new song takes the cake in being my favourite song. The undulating melodies churned out by the differently-textured guitars, liberating 'woo-woo-oh-oh's, tight call-and-response section, rich layered arrangements, and Lissie's soaring vocals are all impressive highlights. The music is bracing and the lyrics are some of her most uplifting and empowering. I haven't bought all her albums, but this one is a keeper and is worth supporting (purchasing).
