      Its a walk in the park once you understand the iteration. Most professors get embroiled in ...lets say other things or trying to sound smarter than is necessary. These are very, very simple equations.

    This is an extremely clear explanation, but there is a MISTAKE at 6:25 where you mistakenly divided by 3 instead of 4, getting 20/51 instead of 20/68=5/17. It seems spectacular to me that half a million people watched this video and not a single one bothered to check, so I might be wrong, please point out my mistake if that's the case.

    I guess it doesn't matter since they get put to 0 anyway, but how'd you get 20/51 and 52/51 in the w column, please? I ended up with 5/17 and 13/17.

    I think there a mistake in the last step, when you pick R2 - 1/4 R1, w should be 5/17, not 20/51. Anyway, thanks for your video.

    minor error at 6:26 - column w in row 2 should become 5/17 not 20/51. This does not affect the final solution, but I had to check it when you said out loud "21 / 51" and then wrote "20 / 51"

    OK... So when finding the pivot row and you get a zero... Since you are in for the smallest number do you choose the zero as the pivot row or not

      I did Linear Programming during my Introduction to Quantitative Methods One (Management Science 205) and Operations Research (Management Science 306) courses when I was a Business student at Saint Mary's University during the mid 1990s.
      While my professors, Professor Suzanne Cottreau and Dr. Muhong Wang, taught me Linear Programming very well, watching this video was a refresher for me.

    why do you even bother writing the values in columns of u and w, if you don't even use them? Just a waste of time calculating those values. And choosing pivot column and row is also a waste of time. you have 3 equations and 3 unknowns, simple stuff.
