while you're at it,I hope you crossed to Dumaguete, another laidback city. Beautiful city with waterfalls, hotsprings, cold springs not far from the city.worth a visit.
Hey, hope this finds you safe and well. It's the first time am seeing you without your hat, and you look cute. Not handsome, but cute. Like a big, huggable teddy bear. And that earned my thumb. I like you taking the time enjoying your sorroundings by walking to where you want to go. I hope you'll get the chance to visit the island of Mindanao down south. Always ingat on your adventures, Tater.
Glad you like it our Home Town Cebu City, I've seen your always walking also in previous Videos , That's a Good Thing For Exercise and Most Important for Adventurer like you is its a Feast in Your Eyes, Keep Exploring, Have Fun and Keep Safe.👍
I researched before what gives those inland bodies of water that blue turquoise color and found out it's limestone particles floating in the water. It gives off that color when light hits it. There's also this other foreign vlogger who's been to all the Southeast Asian countries who said that most of the beaches here in PH are bluer or more aquamarine compared to others. I think it's also because of the limestone. And I remember this other vlogger based in Thailand who went to a beach in Bohol and was completely blown away by it. Said he's never seen waters that color before.
The colors are insane here for sure! I really short video I took in Santander, I'll probably post it to my Instagram. The water looks AMAZING. I didn't know about the limestone particles, thats interesting thank you for sharing!
Wowww!!!! Why i did not know this beautiful spot? I was working with the Cebu Upland Project way back late 80's and our group stayed for almost a month in Oslob. We enjoyed the beach house where we stayed. It was awesome! But this!!?? I'm gonna visit this place in the near future.
The mesmerizing aquamarine color of that waterfall is stunning ❤ Tater you looked like you had a wonderful time. Hope you’re feeling 100% better and relieved that you’re home in the States. Which airline did you take? Can you tell me if you had to do a PCR test on your layover? I’m planning to go back to Seattle next month. Take care always.
I really did have a great time! I'm feeling great thank you for asking. So I took EVA, or Taiwan airlines to Taiwan from Cebu City. Then I took United Airlines from there to San Francisco, then from there United to SLO. I did not require any PCR tests, but I am fully vaccinated. But I don't think that matters for the US regardless, I think you're free to go. I should note there were no temperature checks or anything of the sort either.
@@tatertravels thanks for the reply. Wow you actually changed airline when you got to Taiwan. I’m also checking Eva Airline however they fly to Seattle so there’s no airline changed. I’m Filipina/American and fully vaccinated so I’m good to go. I don’t like PCR test. That thing they put inside your nose is a no no for me 😂 Take care and hope you come back here in the Philippines when this typhoon season is over.
Technically not my first youtube channel, but the other channel had the same travel content towards the end and it was my first. I think overall I've been going for 1 year now.
It took me a long time to get there! I used to be so nervous holding the camera and talking to be people haha. I still am a little when I start but you forget in a minute or so.
it is inexpensive because not a lot of people in the PI would be able to afford 20 bucks for that. if a lot more tourist would go there, they would probably bump up the price to 20 bucks eventually. cool video man
Huh? So Tater is a local tourist because he pays only that amount? The fee is very cheap simply because there are no big facilities there to maintain, no guide fee and no safety gear fee. The fee is only an environmental fee since Tumalog Falls is very easy to reach so visitors don't require guides and there's no need for any safety gear as the water is very shallow. In some other waterfalls in Cebu where guides and safety gear are required, the admission/entrance fee is way way higher. For example, before Typhoon Odette devastated Kawasan Falls in December 2021, during its reopening in May 2021 after being closed for 6 months since the pandemic, the local officials of Badian required all visitors to Kawasan to get guides and life vest as pools in Kawasan Falls are very deep and lots of cliff jumping opportunities. The price ranged from P300 (incl. guide, vest and the visit is limited to the first level only), P600 (visit up to 2nd level) and P800 (visit up to 3rd level). Over in Aguinid Falls and all other popular falls in Ginatilan and Samboan, visitors are required to get guides and vest so the admission fee ranges between P150 to P300 depending on the number of levels you want to visit. Waterfalls which are not as popular, the usual environmental fee ranges between P20-P50.
Hello .. brother I saw in your eyes that you really like my country , you are always welcome in Philippines and let me ask you if you want to marry a filipina and stay philippine's paradise place 😅.. and try all local foods Take care always.. and safe travel for more than thousands of islands ..
