Thanks mate, I was hoping to be in the hills this weekend but the van’s starter motor has packed up and the mechanic can’t do it until Thursday. I think it was about due as it last had one in 2018, before I owned it. I’ve had the van since March 2021.

Being grade1 listed EVERY nail, even the origin of materials and availability as all must be sourced same as original source, stone etc has to be approved and finding tradesmen capable/skilled enough to complete work to the standard takes a looong time to process. That would be the hold up I think alot to do with red tape approvals. Very frustrating for the owners!! The new roof sections look FANTASTIC

Can’t get inside it nowadays. It’s being done up. Someone mentioned to me the other day it’s being turned into a wedding venue place. Think there’s a few vids on RUclips from ghost walks etc.
there’s defo a presence up there. About 10-11 years ago I was there with my kids, and they picked some flowers. That evening when at home I was outside and seen a woman just stood there looking straight at me. In all white she was with really big wild messy hair. Straight up, sends a chill down my spine thinking about it. Told someone about it once and they said spirits don’t like you taking their environment away (the flowers the kids had picked - daffodils 🌼)
The new owner had money flow issues and Council Planning permission denied but I think he had a new one put in but there was delays because of Cv19 but I think everything is good to go now
And watch out he not a nice guy
