At last a soprano in the tradition of Muzio, and Stratas. Vocally interesting, fearless and totally committed. Something mysterious and eccentric about her. I have always loved this type of rare singer. Others were Albanese, Rysanek, Olivero. Singers who have balls and dont give a damn about critics. I hope we see a lot of her. Or she could be poised for her tragic fall. Either way I will be watching. Very excited about her.

Why is this middle-aged soprano singing the role of a fifteen-year-old girl? Of course, she has a great voice but it could be more appropriate elsewhere! He stage presence in this rendition is, seemingly, in no way connected to the role. She would certainly be fantastic elsewhere.
Obviously you have not attended much opera or have much awareness of the physical demands to the human voice that are involved. Please don't enrage opera followers with inane remarks
