- The Sequatchie Valley Railroad is a small 11.5 mile Class III shortline railroad that operates in southeastern Tennessee and briefly Alabama. I managed to catch the railroad's switching duties on my way home from shooting the ATN on 3/6/23. Enjoy!
Thanks for posting the old locomotives at least they look good unlike the new ones today
Well done enjoyed it
Thank you so much!
let’s go! great video dude!
Great catch!
Thank you so much!
I have a question, how often or about what time does this train go through? Also new sub earned!
Two comments: First, with some selective compression, both of these customers offer some good ideas for modeling. Secondly, the very slow speed (~3 mpg?) on the Plygem siding suggests that their track might not be in the best condition.
Thanks for sharing these prototype switching operations.
Fun fact: this locomotive used to be a union pacific locomotive.
you don't say!
Plygem doesn’t take tank cars, just 12 covered hopper cars for a full spot
Good video, but those are covered hoppers, not “grain cars”.
Both locations appear to be receiving plastic in the covered hoppers.
