- The Ohio Central Railroad (OHCR) is a Genesee & Wyoming owned railroad in the state of Ohio. I got to spend the day chasing this railroad and it's Newark based operations on Thursday, May 30th. From tri-clops SD60Ms and tunnel motors to defunct tourist lines, this all inclusive video has something for everybody. I hope you enjoy watching it!

Speaking from experience, Ohio's got a lot of interesting little operations throughout the state. Up here in Akron, the Wheeling & Lake Erie (and subsidiary ABC Railway) work sections of what used to be the AC&Y, NKP, and half a dozen other fallen flags. CSX's New Castle Subdivision runs along the Cuyahoga River for a stretch, with a particularly nice-looking section running below Downtown Kent and the ex-Erie ABC line above and parallel. We've also got the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and its fleet of vintage ALCOs (along with a few _California Zephyr_ cars) and which periodically plays host to NKP 765.
I love Ohio - it's a top 3 railfanning state for me! Hope to be back soon.
This is some great action Cadence!
Thanks so much for watching!
Guess the ex Conrail Locomotive was retired since I last saw it outside my apartment in Febuaray of this year.
I have videos of BPRR 3892 when it was still on the B&P
