Well you know it's a great Vlog when you are smiling through the entire thing - ok a little tear eyed at the shelter. I've said it before but it totally bears repeating - thank you for giving a new life to Pollux and Maxxie and for raising two beautiful young women who have done the same for their kitties. Thank you also for continuing to spread the love to the deserving animals at your local shelter with donations and for encouraging your subscribers to do the same. Will be one of them and I pray that EVERYONE who watches this great Vlog will do so if able. Thank you Ms. R for once again giving me a heart-lift with my morning coffee!

I have recently discovered an old photo of a puppy I fostered around 16 years ago. I've just realized he looked so much like Pollux, but with a rotunder mouth. It blew me away!

I forgot to add that I adopted 2 dogs over 16 plus years ago. They both have passed in 20 & 21. I was lost so I adopted my recent dog. Short story, he was “un adoptable” (supposedly), but the kind lady reconsidered and let me adopt him. Today Oliver is a healthy, happy, and loving little joy of my life. I sent videos of his progress to the adoption center, and the center actually refunded me my adoption fee. She was amazed with his progress, and was so happy for little Oliver. I of course donated back the money, but I just thought I would share this story as the adoption centers really care about the dogs that pass through their doors. I decided to donate to my local center after your video as I tend to forget how much they are in need. Thank you for your videos.

I love that you went back to the shelter! Who knew Pollux's name was from the Hunger Games - never saw it! Pollux and Maxxie are lucky pups, and hope that one day those pups in the shelter will have a loving family just like yours!
Hi Renee! What a heartwarming video! Love watching Pollux, Maxxie, Mochi and Mia reacting to their gifts! As a society, sometimes the shelter animals are forgotten and those babies need comfort, food and yes toys! 🤗
It made me tear up also Renee! That is where sweet Pollux was waiting for you to take him home to a wonderful life. I remember how you couldn't sleep thinking about him at the shelter on Christmas Eve all alone. Well, he is so well loved now and will never feel alone again. 🥰🥰🥰

So nice to see all the love n kindnesses. I know how you feel . It breaks my heart to go to animal shelter. Tears roll. I’m getting ready to foster a Yorkie, Piper. Waiting for her to be spayed. So many need love n gentle touch. so many are abused. The must be shown there is goodness in human behavior. I would like to save them all!! I bet you would too!

It is heart breaking that there are so many animals needing kind homes all over the word. Bless those that adopt, donate or care for these deserving soles. 🧡❤️🌟
Thank you for encouraging your fans to send donations to the local shelter. I have been doing the same to our shelter and they are always so grateful. The day you adopted Pollux changed so many lives.
It would be even nicer if Renee who tell people to stop sending toys and treats to her animals that really do not need them because she can afford to care for her animals. Instead stop the "fan mail" and tell people to make donations to the animal shelters, rescues and SPCA in their own area or home town. The shelters and rescues are full. They all say they cannot take anymore animals because during the Covid pandemic so many people were staying at home so they got a dog or cat and now they are back to getting out or simply can not afford to take care of the animals so they give them to shelters, rescues, Humane Society, SPCA or simply dump them on the side of the road.
I know you all love Renee but just because you send her dogs and cats gifts does nothing to contribute to the better of "poor" animals that do not have a Forever Home!!!!
I am glad that the cats and the dog love the new toys. Thank for giving to the animal shelter.

Hi Renee! Loved "being" with you today. You are always your genuine, happy self... that's why you have so many subscribers! I will say that I was very emotional the entire time because I love pets so much and watching Pollux, Maxxie, Mochie & Mia just brought back memories of the pets we've had. Then when you drove up to the shelter I had all the feels for you. And when you came out I couldn't hold back the tears. All of your fans are with you on each outing, journey, meal, and play time so thank you for letting us tag along!

Hi Cindy!!! Going back to the shelter was tough for me honestly....and as I will continue to go back each month to make my donation, I'm hoping I can cope a little better. I did not do an Amazon LIVE this week so you didn't miss a thing 😁 I'm actually filing "A Week In My Life" this week and I had to work at Craving the Curls during the day (as you'll see in the video) so just couldn't fit a LIVE In my schedule. But hoping to do one next week...actually already have my theme planned out. And...Brecken is heading back to school tomorrow so we've been busy doing all those last minute things. I'm sure going to the shelter more often will make it easier, but for pet lovers, like us with huge ❤❤️, the compassion is always there. I know you'll be busy getting those last minute things ready for Brecken. My daughter graduated in '19 and now she's living at home. We rent her a room! Lol. Really! Places to live are so expensive these days she'd never make ends meet. Have a productive Friday at CTC. 🍧

OH I am so excited to learn that Pollux is loving the bacon-flavoured dental cleaning hard-ish bone I sent him a while ago because it did not interest him when he first spied it….so thank you for letting me know, this has made my day! The gifties opened today were truly wonderful and I never knew there are catnip flavoured Greenies items … my bestie’s cat Lucille will want some also: and yes, I’m able to buy her affection because she is a shallow kitty-cat haha.
Oh it’s his favorite chew toy!! And it’s great because he hasn’t been able to tear it up. Thought it would be great for the shelter dogs (plus it’s bacon favored) 🥓 I bought medium, large, and xl bones for my donation so they could be enjoyed by all ❤️
@@WelcomeToMyCurls thanks for the positive info…I see so many great contributions sent in your fan mail but I am not particularly dog-savvy so I just crossed my fingers with hope when I bought the cool bone. I knew bacon might appeal to Pollux though because I buy Beggin Bit treats for the adorable pup in my apartment building: her name is Shylo and I luff her 💗💜💙❣️
Cats have “scent glands” all over their head & neck. That was so cute Mochi liking the tower of tracks & rubbing her face on it, marking her territory, basically saying “like it,this is mine”
That made me sentimental with you going back to the shelter where it All began. Your open heart took home one lonely shy dog in need of love. Best example of how love and kindness spins into something bigger. This has grown to touch so many ppl through your channel which has spread love across the Nation & into their other countries

I'm sure the people at the humane society really appreciated you showing them videos of Pollux present day; they must've been very gratified to see him so happy and thriving. Wow, Mochi's tail is so floofy -- very luxurious! Cats have scent glands in their cheeks; when they rub up against objects (or people), they're basically saying, "This is mine." Many years ago I saw a musical play based on a comic strip that featured cats; the (actors portraying) cats sang a song called "Everything Here is Mine." I think of that tune whenever I see cats rubbing against everything in the room.
Thanks for not taking us in the shelter with you. I almost didn't watch when you said you were going to the shelter. I just want to bring them all home--it's so heartbreaking to see the animals there. Little Mia isn't getting to be such a big, beautiful girl now! She's a very lucky little kitty. Love seeing all the animals.
While I was in the shelter, there was a little dog named Buddy who was being adopted that afternoon. They had given him a bath and he was running around behind the counter with the staff. He was ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!! My brain instantly went to "I want to take him home with me"....and I did ask about him....and learned his new family was on the way to pick him up ❤️ He was about half the size of Pollux with the same markings but in grey and black. So so cute! And such a sweet friendly little boy. But he could tell his family was coming for him 🐾
So many gifts for all the fur-babies. So nice to see that all the dogs at the shelter are going to be gifted toys from you Renee. 👍👏😊🐶 I volunteered walking dogs for 4 years after adopting my dog from our local shelter. I stopped when all the COVID restrictions started 3 years ago. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊

Sweet video. Thank you. My mother has so much scrap material from sewing projects so we are going to stuff pillow cases with the scraps, sew the opening up, and donate them to the animal shelter. They use them for beds for the animals. It serves a two-fold purpose. It gives my elderly mother something fun to do and helps the animals be more comfortable. 🥰

I was so happy to hear you are donating toys to the animal shelter. Your boys and the girl's cats have so much and I cringe when I see Pollux
destroy so many too. A lot of people have pets and just feeding them is a hardship much less being able to afford toys and treats. It is your business if you continue to keep the majority of the gifts but giving to other pet owners who struggle to "spoil" their fur babies who be a generous decision.
@RM How can people be found in need of toys & treats ? That's so sad. We have a non-kill animal shelter, in Wood county, Ohio. They are so modest, and never ask money to accept pets. Their shelter needs updated + made larger. I pray 🙏 it's so deserved. I wish people will send toys, food or donate there. It's in Bowling Green, Ohio bless them 🐱🐕
@@beverlyjean2237 I made the comment I made so people could see how foolish it is to keep sending toys (to a dog that destroys them in seconds) and treats to dogs and cats that obviously have more than enough!! I know someone in Ohio who has a dog that recently has become very food aggressive around her very small little girl and baby. She has called every shelter. SPCA. Rescue. Humane Society to help place her dog but no one can help because they are at their limit and can not care for anymore dogs. So each day she lives in fear trying to keep the aggressive dog confined in her home and away from these 2 small children so they are not injured or worse! I implore people to stop sending "Fan Mail " that is truly so unnecessary!!!!
@@Raggdoll52 I'm in agreement with you sending fan mail who obviously have enough ! Can donate to that shelter themselves, as well. Real excited to receive free things, 🤦♀️ I feel sorry there's no relief for the person in Ohio. Perhaps, an ad in community newspaper may help. Interested person who don't have children.

My dog loves those chew bones!! The doggies in the shelter are gonna love them! Thank you for sharing with the shelter; that is so kind of you! We have a shelter just down the road from us & like yours, they are struggling these days! Thanks for sharing these videos, they make my day!
Just a thought, don’t want to put more on your plate but perhaps on fanmail Friday or once a month you could feature a dog or cat in the shelter to help get it adopted. Just show a few pictures of it or give a short bio, maybe even once a year or whatever have a live at the shelter. You could suggest people go to their local shelter and see what they can do to help their shelter get a dog adopted, or adopt one themselves. Just a thought cause you h as be such a great platform to make a difference.

I love Pollox and Mooie but I just can't get enough of Mochi and Mia... I can't help it... I love all animal but cats and horse's are my favourite. The fluffier a cat is the better lol I'm 60 years old but it just taps right into that little girl of 2 or 3 years old that screams and tremble's with excitement at a big ole fluffy cat and the need to get your hands in all that fluff lol I finally got my very own Maine coon 11 years ago and she is the love of my life unfortunately she only cuddles on her terms so I have always got to reign myself in so as not to upset her. She limits me to 1 million kisses per day but I always try to exceed my limit lol xxx Love your videos Renee and wait with bated breath to see what the beloved pups and kitties are getting up to. I expect The Kitty cats will be away now til Christmas break but we will all be entertained by Pollox and Maxxie's antics. I hope the B girl had a safe journey back to college... hugs to all the Hayden family xxx

Crochet toys are great for dogs that like to chew. They are the only toys my dogs could not get the sleeker out of. Look f9r different animals with out any removal eyes. My dogs spent hours playing tug a war. Easy to throw in the wash. So if anyone is talented enough to crochet try making some different toys.

@@WelcomeToMyCurls I was wondering if Pollux enjoyed the PB Softies - I thought of Maxxi when I packed the Perfect Trainers - I assumed has has few teeth. I also bought you and your dogs some toys that I keep meaning to mail - catnip handmade toys from here in Seattle and Pollux a giant non-destructible hot dog toy from the Humane Society and Goodwill. Maybe I will get out today and mail it. More than anything I want to see Pollux run with this gross hotdog toy in his mouth. :) Take care!!
