The place shouldn't look like Kew Gardens though! It looked quite normal in the 1990s as seen here ruclips.net/video/WCnE6HnijD8/видео.html and here ruclips.net/video/LaevVQcWiIA/видео.html

Another great video. Theres a carriage shed buried in all that greenery behind the down platform at Llandudno Junction. It is very shocking the dreadful state on Britains railways infrastructure now, adequately shows Network Rail's lack of maintenance to the fore.
Where the shed was is a retail park. The yard area at the front survives and was last used in the late 90s/early 2000s for shunting the Valley/Trawsffynedd flasks into two trains, and then back again in the evening. Although, part of the yard has been cleared as there is a now a slate quarry waste train running from a yard by the junction of the Ffestiniog branch!
@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus I can remember the surplus Class 508s were stored in the shed in the early 90s. As is customary with most places on the rail network that I haven't visited for a long time it is plain to see the amount of neglect that has taken place, Llandudno Junction now looking like an overgrown garden!
Correct! But i was on my way to Yorkshire in a roundabout way (went to visit the Wetherspoons at Runcorn) and headed off to Manchester when i left Crewe, and across to Wakefield......
@@terrymoore9388 I have been in times past! Along with visits to a lot of other great Huddersfield pubs. The art deco Sportsman and the Grove are my favorites........
Good stuff 👍👍👍
You got lucky to catch Avanti West Coast's entire active fleet in one shot!
The station surrounded by nature is wonderful. Something calms you down. I will also subscribe to your channel 😄👍
