- On the 10th August 2022 GBRf's 66723 “Chinook” arrives 37 minutes late at Llandudno Junction station on 6Z60, the 0235 Doncaster Down Decoy GBRf to Llandudno Jnc GBRf. We see it arrive, run round and then shunts it's JNA bogie wagons into Glan Conwy sidings (the former coal yard) to collect slate waste which has earlier arrived by lorry from Breedon Group’s Penrhyn Quarry.
Cool! The exact same thing is coming up today, doing the same sort of run! Those JNA's always have a ton of flats... Great catch, can't wait to see it today!
Excellent video, seems very similar to the Ribblehead virtual quarry loading!
Lots of staff for a simple Shunt.
They could have been put to better use cutting down and treating the wild life habitat they have created.
You ever think that they may have been learning the job?
Where does that track go to? Isthere a loco that takes them to a quarry?
@@lolzlolz69 Fair enough if that is what they were doing. It's taken long enough though and will be a much bigger and more expensive job..
Enjoying your videos, but as a ex steam fireman and Driver, Diesel tales some getting used to.Kind regards
