Magic Square really has been pushing the limits of legends scale with their recent releases, this is no exception

Excellent video!! I love Magic Square, they continue with hit after hit! Sculpt and transformation are amazing! I think I will be waiting for a metallic/ex box set though. If any disappointment could be listed, it's how fast they've been announcing painted versions lately, I did get caught out by a couple which I would have liked the painted versions. I will give New Age the win for that, being fully transparent up front with what they are bringin.
Dang! Brawl's tank and robot mode were good, and Swindle's robot and alt modes are also spotless! This is nuts! Plus, I almost didn't recognize Swindle's G1 voice as I've been hearing TFA Swindle for far too long.

If I saw this transformation before owning some of MS's figures I'd have thought it was ridiculous.
But this and Brawl? Ohoho.
I don't even care about the combined forms or the characters necessarily, they just look like great fun to transform. I'm stunned at how similar the jeep mode looks to Hound's but the transformation could not be more different.

Another fantastic video, and really looking forward to part 2 :-) I have the entire MS Combaticons set pre-ordered, and I am really looking forward to them, though the hole/gap in front of Swindles head looks a bit unsightly - is it less noticeable in hand, Optimus Legends? Thanks 🙂

Only Onslaught so far, the others are there, but it doesn’t say if they’re the Toon or Toy versions, so I haven’t PO’d them yet

Jeez.. my pre-orders are already stacking.. I am using all of my willpower to control my urge to buy this Bruticus set.. 😂 But awesome job from magic square.. they have some dark magicians at work to engineer their figures.. Absolutely amazing job..
Everyone raves about MMC's Bruticus - for me Magic square's bruticus will be the best Bruticus by far!
I would like them to take all the magic square products and make them masterpiece size - their engineering is amazing! Their megatron is the best megatron out there - must release it in masterpiece quality and size!

If I may ask, do the wheels on the Vehicle Mode work? Or are they just prop wheels?
The wheels for the jeep are folded away in robot mode, the painted wheels on the arms and legs are just for cartoon accuracy.

so the Jeep wheels work normally once transformed?
Looks like the Masterpiece Hound system - they do rotate normally, and you spin until aligned so you can fold them into the robot legs.

If they're anything like Menasor or Devastator, I'm going to pass as they look great but, those tabbing joints are just too flimsy and they don't stay connected very well. Mine's constantly falling off with just a very slight touch and if I force it too much, the tabs will break, like they did with Menasor. I had to get a whole new left arm replacement because of this.
Wasn't menasor an anomaly because they didn't use nylon for everything? Has anyone broke any of the constructicon tabs?
@@slappyfun Yes, mine broke as soon as I put Dead End on. It took another month to receive a replacement left arm from Magic Square and now I'm super careful and it's still very flimsy and will fall off with the slightest of touch. Motormaster is a completely different story as I can't even get him to snap into place so he's just sitting in the space and will fall out if it's tilted or moved wrong. I can clearly see the pegs but they refuse to peg into place. My bad, I misread your comment and thought if I had broken mine.
@@saysoun752 oh shoot, sorry to hear that. I've heard some bad things about menasor in terms of breakage. I hadn't heard of anything breaking on Devastator that's why I believe it might be due to the rare instance of using a different plastic on menasor than ms' usual nylon. If that's true, then you wouldn't have the same issue with pretty much every other ms figure. Their engineering at this scale really does require the more flexible and durable nylon (a material some people dislike for other reasons).
