ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old. I was born in Poland and grew up in the UK. I am married to a wonderful man called Maciej with whom I vlog on a seperate channel (everdaters). I also lived in places such as Paris and Alesund in Norway throughout my life.
Why fragrances? I have always been very sensitive to smells. For example I remember being 6 years old and going on a fishing trip with my family. After catching fish I could smell fish oil on my hands for days but no one believed me. Wherever I lived I always spent hours in my local fragrance shop and get to know many amazing fragrances. Now I am sharing my passion for fragrances on RUclips. I hope I can bring you value by introducing you to new fragrances and hopefully someday interviewing perfumers and giving you an insight into the perfume industry.

Chanel and Guerlain are two of my favourite Houses, Guerlain is highly rated here in the Fragrance community but i think they are overlooked by the average consumer just looking for the latest trendy perfume

Solid list! I rocked Tommy back in the day! I also agree with Versace. Great value for what you get! Chanel always smells a cut above and so rich! I want to like Guerlain, but I haven't really gotten my nose on any that I like. My list would definitely have Ferrari, Coach, Mont Blanc and Prada!

Thank you very much for creating this. A lot of the time we as the consumer are paying mostly for marketing, the, bottle, hype overall, and getting royally hosed in the process. Value for quality of ingredients and scent is very important! Monika, I believe you will be a trendsetter here.
Extraordinarily valuable info; greatly appreciated. My plan as a newbie, is to start my modest collection with the more reasonably price selections and then replace with the more refined colognes as the bottles empty.

Great review! I really agree with your picks. I have Tommy Tommy and it has gained my respect - as you suggest, it's very a decent citrus fragrance with a quality composition. I also like John Varvatos Artisan Pure - it really impressed me (although I don't have it). Regarding Versace, I would lean more towards recommending Versace Man Eau Fraiche rather than Versace Pour Homme and Dylan Blue, as I think it's more versatile. For the higher quality designer labels, Dior and Bottega Veneta are very nice.
Thumbs up to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and Versace Pour Homme!!! Can't go wrong with these fragrances! I also enjoy the Guerlain house. Currently I own Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne and it reacts extremely well on my skin. That almond note plus the citrus and the creamy dry down is just gorgeous! Highly recommended!

I have been buying Guerlain for 30 years you can't beat the quality of these scents from this incredible house! They are discounting them because there are major reformulation happening & not for the better! I love Chanel I have quite a few from their exclusives line including Coromandel they do make great perfumes also except the Chance series which I hate very mwah generic scents thanks for your videos I love watching & listening to you your voice is so calming greetings from Australia 🥰😘😘
Why do you think these reformulations are happening? I always thought that Guerlain had and will continue to have quality ingredients. One that isn't completely sold out like the rest.
Personally, I wouldn't even pay 25% for 80% of the designer perfumes, the way they're churning out generic flanker stuff.
I mean I haven't been using perfumes for 30 years, in fact I'm 30, so it's not me being nostalgic for old perfumes. But I got a few old cheapies and they have variety and most are rich, have depth and feel natural.
I'm so excited about finally getting Guerlain Vetiver I just ordered (100 ml for $25!). Every review says it's amazing quality. Hope it lives up to its reviews! John Varvatos Dark Rebel I am very impressed with, much better than Dark Rebel Rider, imo. Thanks for another great video. You guys have such great content and editing. They help relieve the boredom and anxiety of quarantine!

Excellent list, though I've never tried Tommy Hilfiger fragrances and Versace Just doesn't do it for me anymore. I love Guerlain, Chanel and John Varvatos they seem to always produce quality fragrances. BTW I fall into the older gentleman category, but I also l also wear fragrances that are targeted for younger men. Thanks for the list!

Hi. I'm an Orthodontist myself. Just thought I'd share some of my favourites. (Hope Monika won't mind 😉) :
1. Creed Aventus (Or Rasasi Zebra is a good inexpensive alternative)
2. Bleu de chanel EDP
3. Prada l'homme or Amber pour homme
4. Dior Homme Eau
5. Burberry Touch
6. Dunhill Icon
7. Cartier Declaration
8. Acqua di gio Profumo
9. Terre d'hermes
10. Guerlain l'homme ideal cologne
Basically you want to smell crisp, clean and inoffensive. Since you will work in an air-conditioned closed space your fragrances can last longer and since you will be very near the patient's head he/she will definitely get whiffs of your perfume when you move around or come closer while performing your procedure. Don't wear something too strong like ouds or anything too overbearing since it can put off some people who could be too sensitive to smells from such a close distance. Cheers

Or inoffensive aquatic or blue scents like bleu de Chanel, Versace pour Homme etc in summer.
Not too masculine or heavy projection clubbing type scents. Not too Woody or spicy. So amber-y, gourmand-ish perfumes for winter. Think vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, resins etc.
That is def one of the better fragrance channel openings I've ever seen

Do you know Santal Royal by Guerlain? It’s an oud-rose fragrance and I like it very much. I also find it very interesting because of that oud-rose combination!
I have worn it in the past. How do you find it lasts? From what I remember lasting power wasn’t the best but the scent was beautiful
Monika Cioch I haven't worn it in a while but on my skin it lasted long when I remember correctly. I think I have to test Santal Royal again.

Lalique and Bentley offer such richly artistic and powerful fragrances for the lower price point. Nathalie Lorson is a genius at composing interestingly sophisticated masculine cheapies.

I love John Varvatos fragrances even at retail they are less expensive then a lot of fragrances and they give you more in a fragrance, they sell 2.0 and 4.2 bottles for cheaper value. I will continue buying from that house.

@@MonikaColognes I like other houses too like Versace at number 3 and agree with you I like Pour Homme the most. Another house I enjoy is Dolce & Gabbana they are easy to find and cheap at discounters. The light blue line have been great for spring and summer.
When I first got into fragrances I discovered John Varvatos because they were unique bottles and I think most of them smell really good.

My best value for money house is Mancera,of course they have a lot of fragrances which i don't like, but if you find wright ones for wright price then Bingo👏👌 most of them you can find for under 100€ (sometimes even under 80€)for 125ml,niche fragrances,most of them have beast performance.
