ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old. I was born in Poland and grew up in the UK. I am married to a wonderful man called Maciej with whom I vlog on a seperate channel (everdaters). I also lived in places such as Paris and Alesund in Norway throughout my life.
Why fragrances? I have always been very sensitive to smells. For example I remember being 6 years old and going on a fishing trip with my family. After catching fish I could smell fish oil on my hands for days but no one believed me. Wherever I lived I always spent hours in my local fragrance shop and get to know many amazing fragrances. Now I am sharing my passion for fragrances on RUclips. I hope I can bring you value by introducing you to new fragrances and hopefully someday interviewing perfumers and giving you an insight into the perfume industry. My dream perfumer to interview is Frederic Malle, just saying :)

Dylan blue is one of the worst please don’t give hype to ambroxan fragrances it smells strong with headache

I bought Dunhill icon elite yesterday and i really like this one especially the bottle.. The opening reminds me of the original john varvatos men but the drydown is different.

Hello Monika! I have 2 fragrances in this particular group of affordables : Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Extreme and Azzaro Pour Homme. 2 absolutely different scents but I love them because of their price vs. value ratio and apealing character.

A few affordable classics I've picked up; Lalique - Encre Noire À L'Extrême, Hanae Mori - EDP, Guerlain L' Homme IDEAL - Cologne & EDT, Versace - Pour Homme, Calvin Klein - Escape, Ferragamo - F Black Pour Homme, Mont Blanc - Individuel, Azzaro - Pour Homme Intense. You can't go wrong with most of the Varvatos fragrances. Smell great for less!

I actually read a bunch of threads on the Fragrantica forums for female perfumes that men can wear. I tried on most of the 'popular' recommendations and honestly couldn't find one that I could see myself buying and wearing...which was a little disappointing because i was hoping I'd find something kinda unique that would set me apart a little. The closest I got was Aventus for Her and Neroli Portofino, which is technically unisex so I didn't really count that. Plus Tom Ford and Creed are both a little out of my budget right now.
I would consider wearing Black Opium Floral Shock around the house but only because I love it so much. Never in public lol.
P.S. Can't believe I wasn't subbed. Really love hearing a woman's perspective on men's fragrances and your accent is so soothing n_n

Personally I’d prefer BDC EDP (although I do adore Dylan Blue!) ; the reason is bc BDC smells classy. Like you can smell how well it’s blended and no synthetics so it smells authentic and natural. It’s just so classy but also fun and attractive

As for my own input, there's nothing I can suggest that hasn't been featured on most, if not all, cheapie/affordable men's scents but one I feel that deserves a mention is Playboy VIP. You can buy this in Australia for literally $7 and while you're there, you might as well grab the matching body spray for an extra 2 or 3 dollars as well. So that's $10 ($7 US) for an EDT + matching body spray that is actually *really* good...
I swear, you could blindfold 20 or so fragrance reviewers, make them smell it and most would swear it's at least a $30-$40 scent. Obviously doesn't perform very well which is why I suggest carrying the body spray and re-applying once or twice throughout the day.

Anyhow, such a coincidence you list Trussardi Reflesso as your #1 and affordable alternative to La Nuit... I myself was looking for an affordable La Nuit like scent, and purchased Parfums Vintage Suave. Are you familiar with PV Suave, or Parfums Vintage in general?
Supposedly YSL has changed up the batch for La Nuit since its debut, and I've heard fragrance reviewers say that the current version is not as good as the original. I also heard that PV Suave is supposed to be more similar to the original batch of La Nuit.

I can back her up on Riflesso. It actually smells better than YSL on my skin! It’s in the ranks of bleu de Chanel for me as far as personal enjoyment. Magical cheapie;)

Great list but unfortunately I dont agree with Dylan blue personally I think it has been reformulated and it does not last long. Maybe I got a bad batch.

1. 78 Vintage Green by Banana Republic (beautiful fresh and clean with niche quality)
2. Tres Nuit by Armaf (Similar vibe to Creed GIT)
3. Lacoste White (A beautiful fresh grapefruit note which makes it a bit unique yet wonderful)
4. Dunhill Icon the OG (Very sophisticated and mature yet for the modern man. Beautiful fragrance and very underrated)
5. John Varvatos Artisan Pure (A gorgeous fresh and clean fragrance and a compliment beast! Received two compliments the other day wearing this in less then 10 min one from the other no joke! 😀)

@@MonikaColognes JV Artisan Pure imho is the best fragrance from the line. The woody dry down note is just gorgeous on my skin combined with a little citrus. Just absolutely beautiful and I keep sniffing my arm when I wear it. Idk how many compliments I have received wearing Artisan Pure. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi! What about men's fragrances that are not new, but still smells great after so many years(classic fragrances). One great classic fragrance is Quorum by Alfred Puig. It lasts long and it smells great! Just an idea.

Dylan Blue also has this harsh acidic something on the top like Sauvage (except that Sauvage EDT has crazy amount of it)... anyone know what is that scent? Is that the ambrox? Dylan Blue is actually not that bad as Sauvage in my opinion, the drydown has some elements which are nice, but honestly even Blue Jeans seemed more interesting of a fragrance

Good job Monika! There are simply way, way, too many "cheapies" that are awesome. You would need a 3 hour video to name them all! Since is winter, among my faves: Bentley Absolute, Roberto Cavalli Uomo (Nothing has a scent like it) Salvatore Ferragamo Signature, CH Prive Man.....
Totally, just after I filmed it I said, I have so many more fragrances that are great!
